I had the current range on my mind, but even in 2010, you had the 670 CV 599 GTO. But I get your point and you are right.

I sure hope not, I have serious issues precisely with those roof/window/rear areas (250LM, GTO s.II, 296...)

No, I am sure it will be an elegant thing like an F12 rear window.
But then I hope the whole car is an elegant thing, like an F12.

I actually hope it doesn't look anything like an F12. Eyes on your own paper.

Does it sound different than the 812 to you? Has a different pitch at high rev to me and in a couple of moments has brief electric type whir. Maybe it’s my age?

Starting at 3m24s, the intake sounds are definitely the same as the 812c engine, so I presume the 812c engine updates are the basis for the F167. Question is, did they improve upon it or is it status quo?

It sounds different for sure on the exhaust side of things. That extra whir…not sure. There are a lot of sounds picked up by the mic.

Heh, I didn't get this one from Ferrari. Hope I haven't fallen so far from grace that the 812 replacement isn't offered to me. Note to self: find suitable ass to kiss.

from all I have seen, confirmed SF90VS (F173)

and F250 (LaF replacement) is currently more than one year away from reveal

but, interestingly the F167 is currently set for reveal this September... that could slip as it has moved around some

As pointed out in the SF90 VS thread...
    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149083750/

    from the email link:

    2023_email_173VS

(thus it directly identifies itself as being related to the SF90VS ...code name F173)

With the Vision Gran Turismo Ferrari introduces a vehicle that, according
to the words of Flavio Manzoni, presents a “design manifesto“ for the brand.
The vehicle serves as a design inspiration for upcoming models:
    https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corporate/articles/ferrari-vision-gran-turismo
I wanted to see if the elements of the vehicle also fit for a new Super GT.
For this i've modified the vehicle heavily to get typical GT-proportions and
maybe the F167 will have some of these new elements too...;)

Excellent, now just fit with side exhausts for a extra touch of tradition!

As far as I can remember, only the 599XX has a side exhaust. Not very traditional and certainly an American thing.

I will be pulling the trigger on an STO (8-12 months waiting) within few days and it wasn't an easy decision for me, but seeing where Ferrari is headed, I have zero interest in their future cars, especially with GPF equipped cars which I really dislike on my 812 SF and the crap battery that needs to be on tender or replaced if left uncharged or not driven for some time.
