Love this car, but onto the next project. This one needed a much overdue belt service as well as multiple other items. Notable items: -30k major done (for the second time) -entire rear suspension rehab; all bushings, CV boots etc. It looks new now -control arms cleaned and repainted the appropriate black -rear brake cable/mechanism restored -valve covers powder coated the appropriate red -all sticky buttons fixed including the dash and vents. I didn’t do the door handles and e brake handle bc they are in good shape -no lights -new tires -it is very apparent that this car has been well taken care of. The dash is perfect and the vert top looks brand new. -I think 4 owners, I’ll have to look sorry -clean CarFax -complete service records since new -timing belt cover replaced bc some pieces were brittle and broken, I figured it was time to replace the entire thing rather than piece together. -paint is in good shape(normal minor rock chips on front bumper) -22k miles, $85k and would consider part trade for an F car that needs some love[emoji4] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks!! It has been an amazing project. I restored it to nearly 100% for fun with my 8yo. It needs more power, so removing motor this weekend in preparation for a Kyoat[emoji41]. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hey man - big fan of this 348! I have a 308 with well-documented service history but is in need of a service at the moment. Seems like you're pretty handy and if you're looking for another project, would love to see if we can find a way to make a partial trade work! Will PM as soon as I figure out how to work this forum a little better.
Love looking at your car! I wish was ready for #2. Currently have a 1986 Mondial 3.2 sitting on a mechanics rack waiting for control arms. I am curious.....did you have the control arms sand blasted and powder coated? I am trying to determine if I want flat black or glossy black on mine that are being redone. I want it to be as historically correct as possible. Also, I noticed your lift in the pictures. Does it lift the entire car? or just one end? Whats the brand? Specs? It seems shorter and could fit in my garage.
Well… I am just having a hard time getting rid of it bc I love it. The reality is I don’t have the space and winter is coming soon so need to get into another project. I’d still take $85k for it. It now has 23k miles. My son freaked out when I talked about selling it again, so . Haha. Open to trading for a project Fcar bc that is essentially what I’m seeking. Stunning car. Put it on BaT. It’s nicer in every way than this one: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-ferrari-348-23/ Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
