My guy in New Zealand doesn't do steering wheels anymore. He was the best!! Any sources out there? Image Unavailable, Please Login
https://www.coachtrimmers.com/ I have no skin in the game. They are good friends and local to me. Speak to AJ. By all means mention my name. Mark
I have "the man" in Italy. Ex Momo, if still alive. Need help, please PM me. It takes almost a year, but factory perfect. Regards, Alberto

Although my experiences are mostly Daytona based, there seem to be plenty that provide this type of service and while most finished wheels may appear nice (in photos) and acceptable to most owners, they often arern't quite correct. Again, I don't have much Dino experience, but both shown in Albertos post #4 appear to have "issues" I wouldn't be pleased with, but it could be just photos. OTOH, I've seen recovered Daytona wheels seemingly better than both, but not quite pleased with them either, so there's that.
The guy that recovered the three spoke Ferrero wheel for my Stratos was also an ex -Momo employee. Perfect job for 100 euros a decade or so ago. Wonder if it is the same fellow.
I think we all might have a lot of prospective work for whoever we can agree is the “go to” person for this pint going forward.
I have sent a wheel or 2 in the USA, famous outfits, forget the name, one is same guy that did Dino #1. Garbage, the both of them. No refund either. Wish I remembered his name... Only go to the tried and true, if still available, thus, I do not know his name, it is a State Secret. First I go see this guy in the corner he takes photos, then scurries away. If approved, they take the money, then the wheel. Then after about 6 months you hope to see it again . The work is as good as: MO MO Sending back to you, same mysteries. Cost? Last time, it was precovid, and It was much more than the 1st time, so I imagine around 1K (fill in the blank) The 100 for the Ferrero wheel, is (was) pre-Euro Regards, Alberto
In the US, Mark Wallach used to be “the guy” but I don’t know if he’s alive. Back in 2012-13 time frame, I sold my Fiat Dino steering wheel to a guy down near Orangeburg NY. We became good friends, him a Dino owner, and a 246GT Dino owner (among other cool things). He had Mark restore the wheel I sold him, and then, bought Mark’s steering wheel restoration company. I don’t think he’s still operating it. Been a few years.
Rafi from Classic Interiors did my steering wheel ('74 246 GTS) and I am quite happy with it. No affiliation. His website is http://www.carclassicinteriors.com/ Phone number: 818-469-0032. He charged me $500 after a bit of negotiation (in 2019) which I thought was fair. Eugene
I am away now, but have a few pictures in my photo album - I cropped out just the steering wheel to include here. If you need more detailed photos, PM me and I'll get them to you this weekend. Eugene Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Prestige Auto Upholstery in North Hollywood did mine. They do excellent work on Ferrari’s. Did Mike Regalia’s Lusso interior. Ex Steve McQueen car. They had Daytona inserts for Dino’s. It’s been a while so things could have changed. Fernando and his brothers own it.
I got a call from Gary Bobileff Of Bobileff Motorcar company, and he said to send my wheels to him and he would take care of it. As usual great work!!! Thanks Gary. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can’t see from the photo if the outer wrap goes over the spoke leather. I forgot if the outer wrap seam was 2 stitches or 2 and a half stitches from the left side of the center spoke. Where is the seam on these and is the spoke leather under or over the outer wrap? Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
