Beyond unicorn. It doesn't exist . @tres55's car is the closest you'll get. Black on black manual GTB with red contrast stitching. Carbon seats, FHP, no roll bar, it does have embossed shields.
I've seen pics of the interior of this car. Amazing. One of the best. I'm also in So Cal. Would be great to get our 355s with carbon seats together sometime.
More pics of this unicorn. Bianco 1999 F1 Berlinetta w/ FHP. Gold calipers. Japan car. Pretty sure it’s a 1 of 1 spec . @Philipnz @355fiorano https://www.clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?48281-F355-with-fiorano-handling-pack/page6 Assuming these FHP cars UK-delivered are RHD? The updated list says only 1 F1 GTS in Giallo according to Greg’s “very reliable Ferrari source,” which he believes to be this car. This car has black and yellow carbon seats and is currently for sale. https://www.tfcgb.com/used-cars/15669009-ferrari-355-gts-f1-fiorano-handling-package/# There is actually another UK delivered F1 Giallo GTS with carbon sports seats and FHP. However, it burned down A few years ago. It is RHD. I know this because I have the RHD quick steering rack from this car . https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot/20-1998-ferrari-f355-gts/?lot=11383&sd=1 Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have this one in my database. It's been for sale for at least 2 months and has dropped $10k pounds.
Crema with red alcantara accents. Jeremy Clarkson spec. Crema appears to be most prevalent in UK delivered cars. And RHD, in the most desirable color combo (which is more important than rarity imo). Red calipers say FHP (if stock), no? That might be the most valuable 355 right there, mileage not factored.
Well… it is Red/Crema, not Red/Tan . Red calipers is a good indicator of FHP car if the car is well optioned. Not guaranteed, but high probability. Hard to imagine someone ordering seats, roll bar, shields, and just simply upgrading calipers to red as opposed to getting the entire FHP.
I just looked up the license plate and it's a '98 Berlinetta. I don't know the rules in the UK with switching out plates, but that one hasn't been MOT'd since 2018.
Crema/Tan close - just like Rosso Corsa, Fiorano or Mugello would all be similar in terms of desireability/value, and we just say Red Personally I'd rather black interior, but I'm speaking in terms of general desireability. I prefer Giallo on the 355 tbh but well aware I'm in the minority. I'm not a fan of those black sport seats with yellow inserts, but yellow stitching would be my dream.
I prefer this car with FHP installed . Pre-airbag. 2.7 car. Carbon seats. All boxes checked. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Really? I have been wondering about that... I do have red calipers, and the build sheet on my car does say that it also has Challenge sway bars, Challenge shocks, but the springs have been swapped out with stock springs for comfort by the original owner. The transaxle also has a Challenge catch can installed. It also has OEM drilled rotors, a feature I believe is definitely part of the FHP. It does not specifically say it has the FHP, though. I have not verified whether my car has the FHP steering rack. How do I find out for sure? Its possible that the original owner ordered these parts piecemeal. My car is a 99 355F1 Berlinetta. I did swap out the suspension with JRZs though, so just keeping the challenge parts for prosperity.
As far I know, cars outside of Serie Fioranos (Spiders) did not have the Fiorano Handling Package options for North America. Drilled rotors and caliper color (red, silver, yellow, gold) upgrade options were available. That’s not to say the previous owner could not have challenge sway bars installed. You can measure them. Rears are 19mm in diameter. Fronts are 24mm. FHP has standard dampers just like a normal car. However, it has stiffer front and rear springs. The rear springs are progressive rate and visually easy to identify. Steering rack can be identified by measuring the turns lock to lock. If it is 3.25 turns, it is standard. If it is 2.75 turns it has the challenge rack. The only items shared between a challenge car and an FHP equipped car are the uprated front and rear anti-roll bars and faster steering rack & pump. There is another easy way to confirm if it’s FHP or not. Pull out the Bilstein Damper ECU from the passenger foot compartment. If it’s FHP, there will be a label attached on top that indicates it. Outside of the rear sway bar and drilled rotors, the FHP components are absolutely unobtanium. Particularly the Bilstein FHP ECU, which is the brains and magic behind the suspension behavior. My advice would be to buy a car with it, which if you only care for a GTB/S, has to come from UK, Europe, or Japan. Australia did not have FHP delivered cars either. Personally, I don’t even have a LHD FHP steering rack, but I do have a RHD one. If I can’t find it, good luck . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login This is how 355 suspension is controlled by the Bilstein damper ECU. The FHP Bilstein ECU is an improved mapping (released in 98-99 MY) of the active suspension in the 355 taking into account uprated springs & sway bars. It is said with the standard Bilstein ECU, one can hardly tell the difference between “Normal” and “Sport” modes… unless perhaps driven near the limit. I could hardly tell. With the Bilstein FHP ECU, the difference between the two modes are noticeable under just normal driving conditions.
