Similar yes, mine is an L36 which redlines at 5500 because it only has 2 hole main bearings.
L72 (note 2 times 36) has 4 holes and is redlined at 6500.

Of course neither is as desirable as a Mondial.

 

Sounds like you really need to know your a hole when buying a vette
