My Cali T heated seats dont seem to work... the switch operates correctly, and the display shows driver/passenger heated seat operational - but the seats don't heat up....

Does anyone know which fuse this may be, just in case it's an easy fix... or any other suggestions? my indie dealer plugged it in and could adjust setting form 0%/66%/100%... but that did not make any difference...

    Thanks in advance!

I don’t have the Cali T fuse schematics but I am sure a quick search will turn up a link to the service manual.

Mine does the same except it turns on by itself - super annoying. I have to fiddle with the controls until it manages to go off but it's a frequent occurrence. Would love to know if an easy fix exists.

You may have a bad wire in the seat to the heating element. That is most likely since your display is showing the heating unit on. To fix this you need to remove the seat, which isnt that hard. 4 bolts and 2 electronic connectors. You may be able to see the bad wire on the bottom of the seat from the connectors. If not then you need to remove the leather seat cover and check the wires going to the heating elements. Removing the leather is a real pain and you need strong fingers. Just go slow and dont force anything. If you were near CT, id be happy to do it with you and show you how to do it.

Thats weird , you may have a bad switch that turns the heater on. Just make sure it is slid to off when you leave the car. If you leave the heater on settings 1-3, the next time you are in the car it will turn back on.
