Looks like the wing is retractable.

    Not sure about this.
After the F50, LDM said big rear wing wasn’t necessary and aesthetically weaks.
Seems like with this one and the SF90VS, we will see them back..

You can see that where the pillars meet the wing, there are some sort of fairings that seem they could fit into the large holes on the base of the car's tail. Moreover, the outer endplates seems to be flush with the fenders, if the wing was to be lowered. Of course this is just a speculation on my part.

LDM is retired now, they don't have to listen to him anymore. His dumb philosophy on a car being designed with no wing came at the cost of performance.

It is your right to think that LDM had a dumb philosophy but the brand owes him a lot and I dare to say that Ferrari’s current huge success has a lot to do with LDM’s inheritance.

This guy definitely knew what elegance and performance was about.

You consider the Enzo and LaF to be underperformers do you?

Have you ever personally met LDM? Highly doubt it.
It is my opinion that you have NO idea what you are talking about here.

He might be confusing it with the SF90 VS mules which also have wings

No, I haven't personally met him. He did some great work for Ferrari, but his stubborness regarding rear wings hampered the HALO cars's performance.

LdM and Ferrari are wise enough to know that numbers are numbers however beauty is timeless.

Do you even understand down force versus drag?

If the wing is retractable, there is no drag.
