I find it amusing that its asking price is tens of thousands of dollars more then the value a handbuilt Corniche ,

    It’d drive better.

And the seats would still look fine.[emoji57][emoji57]

I remember going to the local car dealer in about 1990, and he had at least eight VL Calais lined up, both V8 and turbo.
All in different colours, but all for sale at $19,990.

Wonderful. The deep blue and deep red were the best. Turbo for me, too, thanks.

Personally I think they’re peak Aussie car and couldn’t care less how they actually drive.

    They drive extremely well.
I stepped with a girl who had a wagon with the Nissan engine non turbo auto and was surprised at how they gripped and went........AND had more legroom than any other car I've parked my arse into.!

Just question for those who have done the ferrari factory tour. How do you organize the tour. Also do they have general public tours or do they have owner tours?

They have both but the owner tours are arranged by the dealer so have proof that you own it and front up to the dealer and once ownership is confirmed they will supply dates you can attend

If an owner then it's free but partners will have to stump up $250

The public tours are on a mini bus but you aren't allowed to get off the bus as it just drives through the factory .................. this was in 2019

That was quite special, thanks for posting.

I was struck early on how 2 guys (Koenigsegg and Murray) who made a success out of defying orthodoxy, were so careful to toe the line with the "EV's will save the planet" mantra. As engineers they know it's a falsehood, but as Europeans they cant defy the state. EV's are a technical achievement, but they won't change the weather.

But that aside, 4 incredible people who were fascinating to listen to.

Talking with a UK Ferrari friend this week re car factory tours, and she reckons the best she’s seen is Pagani... says it was amazing to see the setup for a production of only 40 cars a year.

The Owners Ferrari factory tour depends on what’s going on at the time. I was lucky we got to see the F1 cars workshop (tiny pistons like pieces of jewellery) and the Clienti garage full of vintage F1 cars. Other people I know have seen different things.
