Total beast might be over doing it a tad. It has already been said that it has been watered down alot, from that project. We also have to take into account that within approx 12 months the Halo car will be launched and that has to be a cut above what ever this ends up being. What's the rumor on the name ? guessing it will likely be F1 related to stay true to its base mode naming origins.
It seems not that limited. Just got a call tha one has to have SF90 in the garage. Too bad I am not their first pick but I bought two SF90s only to sell to dealership later so lets see if this counts. I don’t care I get one or not since I am more into 296. Front motor is nono. . well on naming, I guessed and posted Competizione 9 months ahead of time just looking at the progression of ‘GTO’ and “TdF” as race winners in the 60s. The entries for LeMans such as the big winner 275 GTB Competizione, the comp version (aluminum) of the V12 steel bodied road car. Also race cars such as the 250 GTO and the 250 GT SWB - TdF race version. One 250 GT race car name not used yet is “Testa Rossa.” So....my guess is that Ferrari will show us a lighter SF90 as the vs model. A super leggera model. Requires dropping weight to make a noticeable difference. At least 100kg lower weight than the AF model. A super light / super leggera version would bring the car into a new handling domain. Well not sure what the specifics will be. I just think that weight is a target. Perhaps the body (and/or tub) could be something lighter than usually produced. If the entire body was made out of carbon fiber, how much weight would be saved? The calculation should assume that the whole body is not carbon fiber everywhere. [/QUOTE] SF90 is linked to F1 not GT Racing name wise. Testa Rossa meaning Red Head which was inspired by the V12s red cam covers on the race car. Testarossa was used in the 80s and 90s on there road car which had a flat 12. So its basically been used and won't really suit the SF90 vs. My guess is maybe after a Famous Ferrari F1 driver. That would really make it special. Can't see all carbon fibre as to date that has been Halo only from Ferrari but it would be a great surprise as weight and improved handing is really important on the hybrids.

I should have consulted with chatGPT’s writing help first. Lol. I agree with you that it won't be Testa Rossa for your exact reasons. I think it's more likely for an Icona project. My comments on the 599, F12, 812 special variants were about name picking for them as they were V12s like the 250 and 275 that carried the GTO, TdF, and Competizione suffix. Sorry if that was a bit confusing. I was half joking about calling it ‘super leggera.” Hey, if the 812 can be called “SuperFast”…..SuperLeggera ….SuperLight…..Half joking here. But if they do, it’s big progress. Or again tie it to a previous race car name. Or race.
Not sure about base SF90 but maybe the AF SF90 will get a bounce as value option v SF90 VS. In UK about 100 AF SF90 Coupe v expected 70 UK SF90 VS

Interesting that they would not make their "Flaghship car" special edition/VS model limited. I think it will be numbered like the 812C and most likely will be rarer in quantities and more expensive. As per having an SF90 in the garage, I heard this too but not 100% on the criteria outside of TOP ranking.
Agreed. It’s been controversial and a larger than usual potential economic risk. The wait is difficult!
SF90VS 800 coupes 5 - 600 spider Nice to keep SF90 Spider AF and be allocated VS Spider. Ferrari seeing prices on comp tdf - interesting to see where they price it. Hoping for hp but more for weight loss / aero performance.
Heard differently. Twice the number of comp is expected. So numbering is useless if they make more than 1000, I would think. Well, Russia allocation is spread when compared to comp allocation timing so my guess could be wrong. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Not sure production wise but allocation wise, it seems so. Twice the allocation than comp. Again, Russian allocation will get spread accross so.. Anyway, what do I know. I am just another customer. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I heard a UK customer who turned down an SF90 even so was offered an SF90VS which he also turned down !
