Is anyone familiar with the repair of bubbling/shrinking leather on their 488 dash? I have someone that does leather repair but they are requesting help with removal of the pieces of the dash. Any diagrams or videos you may have come across for the removal of parts would be great. Haven’t seen anything on google or the forum search.
    Thank you

This shouldn’t be a continuing problem with Ferrari. Have they ever heard of continuous process improvement, the 5 whys, root cause and preventive action? The longer I own my Ferrari the more I realize how good my GT3 is.
    Sorry to say this.

Did you ever treat the leather to keep nutrients in it ? Curious as to what others use so leather stays pliable and doesn’t shrink.

Tint your windshield (mine is 40% and ceramic)
Clean with diluted APC and then with a damp microfiber
Apply CarPro leather or another quality ceramic coating
Do your best to not leave in direct sun for extended periods of time

This is the best you can do to take care of leather dashes

Appreciate it but my question is about removing the top dash pieces, that way I can repair. Anyone seen a video or diagram?
