Last major service and belt replacement in 2012, 11 years ago?

No humidity, no stickies. She looks great and HGTC 612s are rare because of price.

That is correct. In the meantime, just oil changes.

Very cool car. Initially, I wasn't a big fan of the design, but it's grown on me over the years.

    GLWS!

It's a great looking car yet I imagine the lack of maintenance even per the most liberal interpretation of the Ferrari requirements will impact the sale.
Part of the reason the periodic maintenance is done is the toll that sitting can do to the car and systems.

Good luck with the sale. You might want to price out the cost of bringing the service to date so you are knowledgeable in any price discussions.

Thanks and I agree with your point. Already priced out the Timing Belt replacement @ $4,600 through a local indy Ferrari service shop.

How do 612's drive? Anything to compare them to? I feel like there would be a lot of body roll, etc...? Are they pretty tight?

Basically, a long wheelbase 599, or more accurately, the 599 is a short wheelbase 612 as far as the chassis goes. Less the magneride shocks for the 612. Varies somewhat with options like HGTS/HGTC/HGT2 which included stiffer shocks, rear anti-roll bar, etc.

Beautiful car, a 612 is so elegant…. Provided the car comes with records and does not have any issues (PPI), I believe this would be a good value for a purchaser if the price was a bit lower to account for the lack of service maintenance and belt replacement in over 10 years (at least $5,000 in expenses).

I drove one last year but the transmission was jerky (I bought a different Ferrari). How’s the transmission in yours?

    Good luck with the sale!
