One GM told me that the spiders are being allocated by Ferrari while the coupes will likely be allocated by the dealer (to those who qualify).

I love spiders and I think I would take one if offered, but imagine an F40 spider. Not sure how much sense this car with a standard mechanism would make. I presume if would have to be like the 812 CA with a manual Targa panel.

My thoughts exactly. If any car makes sense as a coupe, it’s this one.

one thing to note re: AF or not -- the AF cars can not have the suspension lift kit.

The original Link content has now been removed.
Maybe out of respects we should now remove all the images from the link that are posted here

This probably will not come as much of a surprise, but was told today the VS is the fastest ever Ferrari road car and has the most downforce of any Ferrari road car.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this car is ultimately positioned from a performance standpoint vs the F250.

The Best part is the F250 has to be a level above the SF90Vs
I did hear someone say one of the targets for the F250 program is to better the Aston Martin Valkyrie

F250 must be lighter compared with the VS by a notable margin to justify the range gap.
Vs should be around 1050 Hp and F250 1200 Hp.
    Not a big story.

I don’t think that’ll be that difficult just on the basis that the tyres hold the valk back insanely so, they simply aren’t good enough for the car (it would have taken a lot amount of money to develop appropriate ones for the car though)

You want to beat them straight up, without playing the tyres card.
But as you roll it out you then pull the tyres card out the back pocket. So in affect you don't just better them you destroy them...

Not sure what’s this got to do with VS or allocations, maybe I missed a link, but not true no lift suspension kit for Assetto Fiorano, yes not from Factory but from Novitec, part no F5 090 30, £8,000 fitted. Amazes me how future SF90 owners don’t consider the amazing AF car because they think it needs a suspension lifter or there is no retrofit suspension lifter option. Best of both worlds..surprising Novitec don’t advertise it here, just did it for them..

Indeed, it does seem the best of both worlds. Please let us know how it goes with the lifter.

Sorry, was just posting that it was possible, I’m very happy with AF without suspension lifter, totally different car to Base model..

They asked me to buy back the car I sold to dealer to get qualified.
So… no. If you can give me one, I am gald to take it. But if there should be a buyback then I will not.

On a side note, I got hold of another 296for my second house and then they also told me no no to have a second one when everyone is waiting in the line. Huh?? Someone backed out at the last minute before delivery so car is already on the display and I can not buy one???

Stange times, maybe just for me, but stange times….
