I agree 100 %. but also they may sit in jail on a bicycle with a generator to produce electricity for all the E-cars and for shut down the last nuclear power plants I hate this freiburg like the devil the "weihwasser" ( holy water?? ). stupid regulations for bicycles created by the green government people. and those bicycle riders not even pay tax for their bicycles. terrible ! ! ! noise protection? hahaha ! ! ! then with an electric car you have no speedlimit? so the daytonas and also the other ferraris then only have been in freiburg with 30 km/h in 1st gear? what a soundscape - a lot of 12 cylinders symphony I live just now in eimeldingen, and since about 2 years all streets through this and all other small villages are all limited to those stupid 30 km/h. the small streets in the villages are limited since long time to 30 km/h. and even the french starting about 2 years ago with those 30 km/h. it makes no more fun to drive. but those you see really good. the swiss on the autobahn have the radar in the guidlines and when you see them it is too late. also in your country they have the radar in cities in the top case of a scooter ( so very mobile ) and also in garbage cans. those we also have in germany but those cans are marked on all edges with a red-white tape what you can see from far away. I wait for the day when the garbage cans get emptied and such a radar will go into the garbage truck so I not even can make test drive anymore after repairing a car without always in danger to get a speed ticket and loose the driver license. good that I´m retired now sorry, has nothing to do with the daytonas now, but I have been so angry to read this from you marcel that I had to write it down. if the mods think I have written in a wrong thread please move this then to the right thread. thank you
Red one appears to have different design, narrower & smaller diameter wheels, along with smaller tires than the gray example.
Gentlemen, while I don’t wish to make this any more “P” than it already is, but let’s put the blame where it belongs, regardless of the location in EU, US, etc. If I’m not mistaken, it’s the population of any, so-called democratic(?) nation/region/locality which chooses their representatives and therefore gets the regulations & rules they “deserve”(?) I believe this is a universal problem(?) and not limited to Freiburg im Breisgau or Germany. OTOH, these types of logistical and traffic related concerns are one of many reasons why I don’t wish to participate in larger scale, organized driving events and especially if the routes include numerous cities/towns with highly limiting traffic controls and are prone to congestion. What’s the fun in that ?
Exactly, but I’ve always (or 40+ years) been under the impression that’s how it supposed to work and rest of us just have to deal with (or suffer ?) the consequences ?
looks like rasthof bad bellingen and limit 120 km/h? so about 1-2 more km no speed limit for short distance that must have been really great sound when all accelerate
usually this little non speed limit part of the autobahn is my test track but to north and back then normal street
Amazing to see seven 'reds' there with just one USA delivery. Speaking of delivery, I wonder how many were red when first delivered. Not a lot of loyalty to the born with color any more.
305 Daytona Berlinettas new in Rosso Chiaro 20-R-190. That is almost 24 percent of entire production. Marcel Massini
Well, in the day, you had to have a Red Ferrari, how else would it show? The more sedate would sway to the other colors. I wonder what was the 2nd most popular color? Silver and its derivatives? Regards, Alberto
What I remember as a standout color on Daytonas back in the day was Fly Yellow. But I have no idea how many were produced in that color.
And nothing has changed in 5 decades, except the percentage (of red) has increased significantly. So much for individualism and courage to be outside the norm, but then again, how many buy/order a new Ferrari, especially today, really for themself to keep ?
Timo, in your world of Daytona, you must have a tally of all the colours you went through? Regards, Alberto
Alberto, I do, but not all have been in their original color, although Marcels “red” percentage seems quite close, followed by your guess.
A Dino in fly yellow, definitely, a Daytona, I would have to be in one and then tell you. Of course, the '80s and '90s. More cars got painted red than I can imagine. raising the factory %. Silver? Howard's car is stunning "Silver Auteuil". I had it replicated here with a sample he graciously sent from OZ. Regards, Alberto
