You truly get to appreciate the time and thought that went into this kit once you install it. Was a fun little project in my tiny garage and I'm happy with the end result.
At the same time I removed the 348tb badge and and 'redded' out the amber corners. I also like the look of the black cavallino in the mix.
    Thanks, Chris.

So I rearranged my weekend plans to work on the car....

Will post detailed pics. Wanted to get out there the end result first.

Kit was dead easy to install. Took around 2-3 hours to get it right.

I agree with boxcarracer comments above. Clearly a lot of time went into refining this kit and it really came out perfect.

Couldn't be happier. Many thanks to Chris and his team on making this project a reality.

You know--this thread made me curious. Does anyone know what drove Ferrari or Ferrari USA to make this SS taillight change? And I'm quite amazed that it was for US-only Serie Speciale cars and didn't at least make it as an option for others such as the GTS/GTB, Competizione, etc.

Was it some dude at Ferrari NA who had this idea and Ferrari SpA obliged?

Was the SS something that came from the factory fully altered or was it something Ferrari NA did at the port to goose 348 sales?

It was not a factory prepared car. FNA did the build.

So they came off the boat as normal TS/TBs?

Who designed the parts? They have factory part numbers and the grille I just bought came from the factory (apparently) so presumably they did the manufacturing? I wonder if pininfarina was involved.

I was really keen on building an SS spider clone/tribute but too many of the parts are NLA and I don’t think I want to get into fabrication.
