Wow- Personally I'm never a fan of colored wheels but in your case the yellow wheels with the yellow offset on the body is not only classy and striking but hyper-unique- Breathtakingly beautiful car- Wow!!
Could you please share the size of these wheels? I just purchased a '23 yesterday and I am going to be replacing the stock birdcage wheels. I was considering installing a set of Novitec springs, but your sizes look like they fill out the wheel wells without much tire gap.
I bought one after reviewing EVO car of the year contest, drove it last week for the first time: what a fantastic car this is! Super comfy, very different, looks to die for...I was totally fed up with BRAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPP Ferrari's so sold them all. Love MC20 as it is exactly the car I want. A love affair I expect not to burn off quickly as this simply is just a very very VERY good car!
I could have sworn someone mentioned recently that Ferrari of Scottsdale have 3 of them available. Based on what I’m seeing on BaT recently, they are readily available
I'd like to order the Cielo without the depreciation of buying a coupe first. Not sure that's possible.
The question is will they take a new order for a Cielo. I kinda doubt it if they have all these coupes hanging around.
In Europ (or at least in France), that is absolutely no problem to buy a Cielo. I purchased one with zero Maserati in my garage. Only primaseries (65 in the world, 2 in France) were allocated to coupe owners only and I ended with one when someone dropped his allocation. Fantastic car.
You do not need to have bought a couple to buy the Cielo. When I spoke to my local dealer a month or so ago they still had slots for delivery this year...
I doubt a new order placed now will deliver this year - maybe if you order it very basic. . My dealership got 5 allocations for 2023 and they only expect 3 to deliver this year. All have been spec’d and ordered a while ago. Mine is #1 and I am hoping it ships later this month.
If it is anything like the Coupe you are looking at a late first quarter 2024 delivery if you order now.
I went to the local dealer this week. MC20 Cielos are basically unobtainium. They aren't taking orders. I put myself on the list to be on the list to be on the list. But the chances of getting one are pretty slim. Here is what is funny. When people review the Mc20 they kinda of rag on the infotainment screen and system. Its the exact same system and screen in the new Alfa Tonale SUV and reviewers rave about it. Should we tell them?
Yea I'm #2 at my dealer for one. They think they'll only get 2 between now and end of 2025. Weird business making cars desirable but not actually making any....
I was at the dealer today for the intro of the Ferrari SUV. Both the 296 and the Mc 20 where there. I actually liked the Mc20 styling better (its just a bit more exotic) but the 296 is still really beautiful with fantastic details. Both cars look small but aren't really. The Mc20 next to a Ferrari 360 looks big but by itself it looks small. Both cars did good job of cutting away excess fat from the designs making them look smaller.
I saw my first MC20 in the wild yesterday at the Greenwich concours as it drove by headed for the parking area. Not much of a look either. It was yellow and that looked good. These things are rare as hen's teeth in the wild around here. Mclarens are very plentiful. My nextdoor neighbor has a new boyfriend with a white one that parks here regularly. What a boring looking car. There were Mclarens all over the field yesterday. The Miller Motorcars display had some too and a handful of Maseratis including a 4 cylinder Grecale for 94 grand next to an Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio for about the same price. WTF is Maserati thinking? They're about the same size and I guess???? the Maserati is a little nicer inside but way less powerful.
I was surprised @JayEmm sort of bombed the MC20 saying it rode far too harsh. That is the first somewhat bad review I've heard. Still rides far better than ANY Lambo and Corvette, but I cannot speak regarding newer Ferrari's. I've heard Mclarens ride better than any of them though.
I was recently given a new Grecale Modena trim as a loaner; had about 200 miles on it. nice looking SUV; but woefully lacking in "oompf". The sticker on it was just under 100k, but not by much, push button gear selection; no gear shifter; IF I was in the market, I'd take the Stelvio QV for the same or less money. 505hp on tap, and a great ride with superior handling.
