Nothing to do with the voice but while looking through a few race threads tonight, came across this about Melbourne bars /pubs as noted by visitors? 'Very jealous! Quite hungry right now approaching 4am here. If I could teleport I'd jump to the Charles Dickens or the Riverland bar in Melbourne for a nice plate of fish & chips' 'Mate.. the Charles Dickens is a shadow of what it once was. Bloody Serbian radicals have turned it into a Putin fan boy venue. I’ll never go there again. Absolutely shameful.'
****ing great, wives, kids, cars , houses, great holidays, some good friends, enough money to retire whenever I want, someone to leave all of my hard work to ..... just telling

This voice garbage is the greatest threat to the Australian way of life since the Japanese potential invasion in WWII. There are over 50 government departments involved in Aboriginal and Torres Strait affairs at a cost of over 30 billion /year for less than 4 percent of the population. There is more money squandered in this area than Medicare, and there are more people in the elected political office of Aboriginal decent now than any other race, they HAVE a voice already. Almost 50% of this island nation is now under indigenous rights and interests, that everybody else has to pay for. All the other races that make up our country, the Chinese, the Vietnamese, the Greeks the Italians the Croate's, etc etc, black white and brindle we are all invaders......apparently. If we reverse this model so only whites get the free ride and ALL the mining royalties, what is that called??? My family have been here for 7 generations, my wife's family name is the the log book of the first fleet. All have paid their taxes, some have served to defend this country, all have led a productive life and valuable contributions to our country, not welcome to country, our country. Why must we establish another nameless department that achieves nothing and operates outside of the laws that apply to the rest of us, change the constitution, put most of Lidia Thorpe's 12 nominated relatives (not elected) in, just for one race??? Wait ......... I think they tried this in Munich in 1933 that didn't pan out to well either. Yet they need/ demand, more!! WTF
Uhuh...watch out Mike your garage could be on sacred ground: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-04-29/ngambri-people-consider-native-title-claim/102281670
I spent the first few years of my life in Kalgoorlie. If you think it's rough now, the activities after dark recounted from my late parents from 1967 to 1970 were frightening. Dad was the local GP and general surgeon in Dugan Street. Mum ran the practice, typed reports and was the nurse when required. They worked 6 days a week. Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday were the worst because Thursday was pay day. The local Aboriginal men would drink themselves into a stupor until the money ran out, then they'd have a bottle fight. Usually outside the brothels or the bottle shop. They'd bash the women when they came home. Dad would stitch them back together then it would all happen again next week. The worst of it was when a few locals stole three motorcycles, baited the police and in trying to outrun them, two were decapitated as they rode through a paddock and didn't see the high fencing wire. Mum befriended an Aboriginal girl I'll call Mary. In 1967 Mary was 16. Mary told Mum she's love to have a child one day and Mum taught Mary to read and write on Sundays and occasionally Mary would help out in the practice. When the practice was busy, Mary would walk me around the block in the pram much to the amusement of the locals, just not past the bottle shop. There was never any trouble from Mary nor her family. Mum in later years occasionally mentioned the time in Kalgoorlie however Dad never mentioned it, he hated the place. We moved to Melbourne in 1970. Fast forward to 2017 and I was going through some of Mum and Dad's letters after they'd died and I found some correspondence between Mum and Mary. They wrote to each other over many years. I took some time off in 2019 and went to Kalgoorlie. I wanted to see the place that Dad hated and see if he was right. Incredibly, I found Mary, she'd spent her life working in Aboriginal services and was a bit of a local icon. She was stunned I'd tracked her down (pun intended). We met and had a chat about aboriginal life and the white man. Basically the conversation distilled to this: - most aboriginal people just want to be left alone. - the money from the Federal budget for aboriginal services is spent mainly on bureaucrats pushing pens and opening further departments in the interests of aboriginal welfare to satisfy the virtue signaling left leaning voters (Her words). - that the majority of politicians who identify as Aboriginal and those that make decisions around Aboriginal affairs are not, and their conduct is deeply offensive to Aboriginal people. I don't understand much about Aboriginal culture and values, however I am sure The Voice doesn't help anyone. (something for Pap, in 1969 Dad was the recipient of the first V8 Holden in WA. A HK Premier with a 307 and powerglide, in silver mink. He ordered it with a LSD and said it was absolutely lethal in the wet. He was stopped at the lights once in Perth and a fellow walked past the front of it, pointed at the crossed flags on the front wings and bowed)!
