Everything is coming from his torso instead of his head maybe that is why his legs are also small because of his big torso

The Bones are there and really visible in the front. The rest is better hidden but still getting a great feel and that amazing stance you just can't hide it's feeling more and more like the F50 GT a true race car (well as close as you can get on road). the Glass house does look definitive agreed. The final shape and look still to come but the feel is this is going to be some epic is really strong.

The sf90vs has my curiosity, I expect it to look a lot better than the standard car and it’s hardcore personality affects usability in hardly any way as the car had zero luggage space etc in the first place so it makes more sense

    Just lurking… ;)

Agree—looks like the wing is shaped to nest into the rear deck when retracted. This does a couple of things, 1/ it meets LDM’s diktat of no wings even if only when the car is stationary in this case, and 2/ it hints at the actual shape of the rear deck.

Given that LdM is no longer the CEO of Ferrari, why would they still care about his diktat ?!?

Maybe because even the geeks who control Ferrari now recognise that Lucas’ diktats were far from stupid.

So it seems this car will have a retractable rear wing ?
Really hope a sporty but flowing design for the whole car..

Yep, it would certainly seem like it. The car that comes to mind when thinking about this is the P1. Very aggressive with the wing up, and sleek and beautiful with the wing down flush to the rest of the body. Not sure it will be as seamless on the LaF replacement if the end plates are going to hang off to the sides of the car, and I don't have much faith in Manzoni's abilities to design a worthy successor to the LaF either, but we'll see!

To be honest his design team already designed the Laferrari..

Respectively disagree …. Manzoni et al have penned the Daytona Sp3- an all time classic shape , imvho….. Manzonis team will make some subjective (‘errors’) but mainly , they are Phe-nom-in-Al !!

I'm coming from the complete opposite camp. I dislike the SP3, it's up there with the SF90 in terms of bad looks in my book.

Luckily I’ve seen about 7 different coloured /specs SP3s at the factory - I too don’t think the SF90 looks the best , but that wasn’t its remit. SP3 is a masterclass in aesthetic terms - only personal opinions - I’m loving manzonis designs whilst still loving the “old days “… The fact that there are so many more models with Ferrari at any 1 time means multiple design cues - to suit most aesthetics….

Agree and based on my personal experience the car appeals to the public much more than the LaF (although I must say I still think the LaF is the better car).

Last week I saw a Laferrari in Cannes.
The car looks small and very low.
Its design is always beautiful ten years later to my modest opinion.

LaF was an outside design as will probably its replacement so you don’t have to trust them ;)

The La Ferrari was done in house they did ask Pininfarina to put forward some designs but they went with one of the in house ones.
They also did a special display to share with the public showing lots of different designs and prototype models they made for the project. I saw a couple of designs from Pininfarina sadly didn't think much of them.

Spot on Jag. So many models and the genius of Manzoni’s team is that they are able to adapt their output to multiple vehicle types with multiple market objectives yet still retain a strong link to Ferrari’s history - SP3 is a perfect example but so is 296.

As for LaFerrari, it’s pretty easy to trust Manzoni to follow it because he designed it in the first place, didn’t he? The LaFerrari up close is exquisite. It is so different to the ‘normal’ Ferraris. Rory Byrne’s chassis has such an impact on the details of the car, it’s something you don’t fully appreciate until you see the car up close and have time to notice it. The way the glass fares into the body, the complex but beautiful way the body is draped over the chassis including the aero solutions into a package that is both functional and beautiful. The cockpit’s design and integration into all of this is also very special. The size and height of the finished package is also really impressive and adds to the overall beauty of the finished car.
