I assume you don't like it? Might not be the best looking car, but its engineering, that engine & the way it would drive, wins me over...

When you look at the detailing around items like the billet push rod suspension scalloped in areas that don't require as much strength as around the fulcrum and the dainty gear lever it makes most of the current supercars look like rubbish. Ok, for 3m GBP you'd expect it to be so. Add the sub 1 ton kerb weight, a V12 and a manual transmission IMO it's simply sensational. I suspect it feels very responsive. Let's hope the technology can trickle down to other more affordable products utilising the same dainty footprint and low weight.

Apparently the entire production run was sold out within 48 hours of announcement.

I can't recall an age when so many hypercars were offered by so many manufacturers, total production must be north of a couple of thousand per year, all of which find a home.

I like everything about it, except the styling which is pretty ordinary in my view.

The fan at the back is pants.

Personally I think the T33 is a more attractive and cohesive design, and probably provides 95% of the same experience.

Nup, I don’t like it at all, bar the engine.

T50 is a great looking car, even with the fan.

Simon, I read that thread and I saw nothing beyond the range of B/S remarks that you'd see in any Aussie section fchat thread. The notable difference being that, just like America itself, it's generally more polite.

If you spent some time there you'd understand that the US is a mixture of the good, bad & ugly, just like anywhere else in the world. In Australia we are saturated with inferiority-complex media that exaggerates every piece of negative news they can find, don't be fooled into buying their game.

It's the straight in go for the neck litigation/supposition of fault thing I am eluding to Ian plus the various comments re what caused the event.
One bloke is adamant that it was the tyres fault.

Aussies certainly don't bring litigation into an event like this.

We absolutely DISCUSS what the cause/s could be without definitively pointing to one particular one...unless it's the bleeding obvious.

Indeed none of us here HAVE discussed this event at all yet the yanks, and a couple of others, are all over it.
