Let's hope it's a dry race. A wet race should spice things up. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alonso on the front row of the grid, and a Haas (Magnussen) in 4th position, that's something we don't see very often.
It's approaching 10pm in Miami and rain is pouring down at the circuit, so any rubber on the track will be washed away.
Gasly and Ocon on 3rd and 4th rows with Alpine is also unusual... The first two positions will probably be taken by Perez and Verstappen (question mark being, in which order) but we may hope for a more surprising result from 3rd position.
This looks like it might not be the processional race we all anticipated? The jumbled starting grid, green track and the possibility of rain will create chaos. Expect the unexpected!
For Gene...? Why would you wish good for a literal convicted criminal. The dude was/is a scummy businessman; even Steiner is more symphatetic compared to guy who has literally been in jail.

This forum is about F1, and Gene Haas brought a new team on the grid. That's all that should concern us. Personally I don't consider tax evasion a "crime" in the same degree as physical violence, etc ... Anyway, he purged his sentence, he is fully rehabilitated and now a legitimate businessman. That's all I want to know.
It's not raining now at the track. Strong wind. Weather forecast goes down to 30/40%. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Who is going to give Verstappen the most trouble as he gets up the rear wing of Perez? I am going with George Russell again. The Mercedes boys can't seem to leave enough space.
Not that the guy was against physical violence. He was also accused of witness intimidation, literally telling people that they would get hurt if they testify.
