Well the race is old news now. Mercedes and its drivers are better than Ferrari and its drivers, and that is with Mercedes struggling to try and get up front. So, looking at next season, a friend and I talked about the future while thinking about Danika in that silly red dress. Alonzo is on fire and having the time of his life, but he knows that AM doesn't have the car or the potential to take him to the next level...and won't have next season. Charles is already in talks with Mercedes...he seems willing to believe and gamble that they'll get it together before Ferrari will. Lewis is ready to shoot someone. He simply can't get to the front and the car isn't helping. He can't even keep up with Russell. Plus, Toto is in no rush to talk about next season...at least with Lewis. But he seems to be talking to Charles. Who will jump ship first and start the musical chairs? I'm betting it is Charles. When it leaks he has signed with Mercedes, Lewis doesn't expect it and gets caught flat footed and with his mouth open. Alonzo sees the opening and goes to Ferrari...it gives him and the team a new start, with a team that can build a winner, and has deep pockets. Lewis sees his chance for an 8 WDC evaporate, but there is a chance to go out with his chin up and even a win or two...with AM. Perez is happy, Sainz is happy, Lance is happy, F1 is happy, The ones without a drive next year are Alfa Romeo, Bottas, and either Magnussen or Hulk. Zhou goes to HAAS. Who drives for Audi Sauber? Maybe Perez and Sainz...starting musical chairs for the number two drivers at RB and Ferrari. Sargeant doesn't last this season, nor does De Vries.
Verstappen's lap times vs Perez's lap times Horner said Max matched and even beat Pere's lap times from lap 20 to lap 42 on the same hard tires. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely. It's freaking awesome. And despite Max winning, check out the cooldown room body language. Everyone knows he's the Boss.
I had to turn the whole show off after (ok, during) the driver intros by LL Cool J. I decided to watch Jerry Springer reruns instead. Not that many viewers apparently care, but i'm assuming there was a race today, yeah? Can someone please tell me who won ...
Horner talked about about those 20 or so laps on the hards, but Checo had to push it from the get go since he was in clean air and with the faster tire. Granted, in hindsight, with a full tank, you want to manage the mediums so that you can pit later, if you're doing a one stop, but then the whole strategy feels compromised. Again, how his simulation showed this was better? Are the two stop strategies (with no rain) a thing of the past? I miss those Schumacher races in which he could sprint from 1st and do two or even three stops by increasing the gap to the second place. I guess you need to be really really quick to achieve something like that. => Bring refuelling back!
There's something quite unacceptable for some folk to be given their own exclusive pen with significant security on the grid - its not as if Federer is anywhere near being either the most famous or the richest person on the grid - if you accept the hospitality you should play the game (it was wonderful to hear Brundle willfully ignore the Williams sisters after they insulted him last year)
BBC headline- Miami Grand Prix: Max Verstappen's statement win underlines superiority over Sergio Perez I see Max winning Monaco now. He will close the door on Checo there!
I think low speed acceleration is the weakspot of the RB. Combine that with it not having a big advantage on saturday, AM or Ferrari may spoil that party.
As I have said before, Perez will never win the WDC. This was a perfect and shifty way of putting him on a "different" strategy to Verstappen and knee capping him while maintaining the illusion of competition and fairness. Perez knows it too.
This was classic and also upsetting to see. Don't these people know who Sir Jackie Stewart is? He should be given Carte Blanche at ANY F1 venue! Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
F1 only makes themselves look ****ing stupid having all these bodyguards out there protecting celebrities from....other F1 people? Given how limited access is on the actual grid you won't get simpletons running about (well, apart from Jake Paul). Sure, have a few heavies about for if something does happen but celebrities don't need an entourage with them. If they their own security, revoke their pass and tell them to buy grandstand tickets or **** off.
This was a class act by Alonso on the podium. Fernando Alonso Hands Champagne to Team After Podium in Miami
Another total snore fest of a race. The only interesting part was watching Max ditch the sandbags and unleash the full potential of the RB in pursuit of Perez. What a nuts car this is. Possibly the most dominant car since the Merc in the early era part of the crap over engineered woke virtue signaling hybrid era. Max dominated completely. There is only one candidate for wdc and he’s it. Congrats triple world champ! I have nothing else to say… other than to moan at Ferrari for being useless. How did we end up behind Merc?! I mean seriously wtf? Oh- and one final final moan - Stroll is utter s***
SKY Of late fawning over Lance is hilarious. If one needs to see his current true level. Here it was this weekend. He is only here because of his wealth. Even Latifi had to leave. Lance is one who should help the team by leaving.
Camon, even alonso raves at lancelot talents...honestly, i wan't to hear this one from you guys, how much extra cash do you guys think papa stroll is forking to alonso to make him say good things about his son??
