Definitely is. Saw this one from Insta the other day. How sweet Max remembered ger from last year | #f1 #shorts #f1shorts #maxverstappen - YouTube
Whatever people say about a boring race and Red Bull domination, Max did a fantastic job today. Who else can lift the title this year, but Verstappen? Red Bull should be fully associated with his success too. Days like today, Max shut all the critics up (including me), he is the best at the moment.
Both....but Max went from 9th to winning the race. Started on hards while Perez on mediums. Horner stated Max made some phenomenal laps on lap 20 thru lap 40.
For both ! Red Bull and Verstappen, fantastic car and driver. Just what I used to say about Hamilton and Mercedes a few years back.
Exactly. P9 vs P1, had the slower strategy, slower stop. He was matching Perez's race pace from like lap 3 onwards despite having to overtake drivers.
Great on his day but a 2nd tier driver. Rate him slightly above bottas, more or less equal with Sainz.
Perez shouldn't be sneered at; he is excellebt when he can back up Max and collect points for RB. He is just slower than Max, but faster than many #2, including Sainz, I guess.
I’m sure Checo went to bed last night thinking barring any safety cars or any reliability issues, he should have this one in the bag given his teammate was starting in P9….. Obviously Max had other ideas
For all the claims post Baku...they where royally flushed down the toilet in the space of what...15 laps yesterday? Whatever lap it was that Max passed Alonso and was reeling in Perez at a sick pace.
Isn't it strange that before Max was winning it was always the car and now I'm hearing the word "both" more often?
NO driver wins without a car capable of winning - It is 90% car. The key being to consistently win with a car capable of winning overall each race. No one was going to stop Max yesterday at all. If you have that potential pace P9 is like starting P3 with such a machine. Max did what he is expected to do. LH did the same and so did MS. Take the car capable of winning/being dominant and CONTINUE to win.
