The vocations are different from that of Roma. Ferrari doesn't need bug-eyed cars made to scare teenagers with holes everywhere. mature designs are welcome. P80/c is a mature design that combines elegance and aggressiveness, for example !
What I’m saying is that it’s connected glass to C pillars on the sides with a floating spine in the center with vertical glass behind driver.
I take it you’re NOT A FAN of the SF90 VS then lol ! The P80/c IS a great design. In fact, I put it in my top 5 Manzoni designs. Simple can be great and complex can be great. Bad complex aggressive design = F8 Tributo and SF90 Stradale Good complex aggressive design = 458 Speciale and 488 Pista Bad simple elegant design = 488 GTB, FF, Roma, Portofino Good simple elegant design = Purosangue and Monza SP1 The BEST of both worlds? SP3 Daytona.
Image Unavailable, Please Login ...something like this? This solution is for mid engine cars. In fact, the 296 has this solution in 2.0 way
I honestly don't see a different solution from the classic and canonical convex volume with rear window, indeed, the sensation I had in seeing it live was that "hunchback" effect very characteristic of the Daytona Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would mean its like the Roma's rear which I think they took inspiration from the Daytona. Why do something they just did on the Roma ? I think the rear on the Roma is a great modern update the change to the window shape is a real winner. Seems to be something going on in the Mute photo in the marked area Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It actually COULD be something like this … a VERTICAL rear window in both coupe AND spider, flanked by buttresses. What THIS would accomplish .., Is that it would allow the VERTICAL rear window to be power operated and go up and down with the touch of a BUTTON, so that owners could properly hear the V12 in BOTH COUPE AND SPIDER models. Picture the retro rear buttress of the 812 Competizione Aperta but with more elegant integration and a power window for both coupe and spider. The more I think about it … the more I think … THIS IS WHAT IT IS !
This is my guess as well - I was even wondering if it would not be gts only, but this would probably not be compatible with the expected ride sharpness of the V12 coupe
Or Could we be looking at a vintage Corvette owned by someone at the factory? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Hybridization...it's not for me ! especially when you combine with a TT ... it's a bit like coca cola to wine. I love engines too much to be interested in this engine without any soul or nobility
I think exactly that … NOT for GTS only. This previously GTS only feature … the power rear window … is EXTREMELY popular and would be a huge selling point on the coupe replacement as well. Because on a coupe car now … the only way you can really hear the engine is to roll the side windows down … and then you are subjected to highly unpleasant wind buffeting above 60mph. This will give a very innovative solution which was inspired by cars from prior history and will give that same ability to hear the engine in open air at all speeds … to buyers of the coupe as well. So I think what we are looking at here is a car that blends the design languages of the Monza SP1 and the 812 Competizione Aperta and has a clamshell hood and a retro buttress rear roof line allowing a powered vertical rear window on both coupe and GTS. You heard it here first …
No… not at all. I saw this car in Maranello and the proportions are far from the Roma which I own too. The car feels like the natural successor to the 812 and the design is perfect. In photos and videos the white and black wrap does a great job of confusing the eye. In person it just looks like another wrap. Needless to say I was very impressed! May the Horse be with you
I really doubt this is the final design for F167. To me this is a Roma mule with a longer wheelbase because of the V12.
This is the mulotipo! The proportions are different from the real Roma only because under the body there are the new chassis with the all new components. The new car under an old Frankenstein dress! The same happened for the F250. Mulotipo stage.
That thin wrap hides nothing to my eye. Its not a special car and certainly not the 167 as described here.
