10546 just sold on BAT for $147k. That's a very good price for an unrestored, meticulously maintained and insanely well documented car. I feel like the buyer got a bargain at that price.

 

That car is a total repaint .

 

What makes you say that?

 

Chris I know you love the GT4 as do I, but $147k for a GT4 a bargain??? That’s crazy money for one of these cars.

 

Same paint details missing on your car and many others.

It's more than just the car itself in this particular case. That car has 100% thorough and complete documented history from new, only three owners, and an avalanche of awards. You're buying a piece of history in this case, not just a car. Had it been a regular 308 GT4 in the same condition, but with none of the documentation, history, and accolades… then it would have been a substantially lower price.

 

Sorry, you lost me. That's not my car, and not sure what "many others" have to do with this particular car needing a "total repaint".

I do know that car very well and I know that what you see is factory paint and has never been repainted. So that particular car would not have any paint "details" missing as that's the way it left the factory.

 

Dude the car that sold is repainted man. And it’s missing a black paint detail like yours is.missing.

Believe what you want, but I'm very familiar with the car that sold (and the folks who've owned it), it has not been repainted. It has had touch-up/correction work done throughout the years as it is a show car, but it has never gone through a repaint. Ever. Mine? Sure, absolutely, it was repainted, and I had them paint it the way I wanted it. When it comes to these old Ferraris, I think it's pretty safe to say that no two cars left the factory the same.

 

So you think people added the drip rails painted black? Yeah ok. Do a search. I’ve been doing this for 22 yrs. Believe what you like.
