There was a kit back in the day. Maybe same belt but different tension as pully may have been different dimeter. It uses a different bracket 100% for sure. I have the 140 amp unit in my car.
Unfortunately the kit is discontinued. Part number 70000807. I am trying find all the parts to make the kit. I just need the size of the pulley, the diameter. Next time when you are doing the work on your car, would really appreciated if you can measure the diameter of your 140Amp Denso pulley.
Right kit has not been available for many years. The hard part is not the pully, its the bracket. You can get the alternator all day, pully is solvable, the bracket is the issue. You got the bracket? The upper brackets is the one that is different from the 105 Denso.. If you have a Delco you can have it wound hotter, seen the up to 180 amp
found the upper and lower bracket. Also found an alternator but it's missing the pulley, so I need the pulley size to complete the kit
I bought one of this to convert from my Delco alternator connector. Really need the pulley diameter Image Unavailable, Please Login
The pulley diameter is 57 mm, measured over the ribs on which the belt is sitting ("Pulley OD" dimension shown on the drawing). Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do not know the size of the original 105 A Denso pulley because I never had one. My 348 came with a Toyota (Honda? or something) alternator installed by the PO and I replaced it with the genuine Ferrari 140 A kit. The pulley on the alternator that the car came with was 55 mm but I do not know whether this pulley was the original 348 Denso 105 pulley transferred to the Toyota/Honda unit or some other pulley.
You can get adaptors. I tried to reterminate my harness and got into all sorts of problems. Now I need a new engine harness Does your Delco have a plug like this? https://www.autolinkparts.com.au/oex-hxk-16-alternator-adaptor-3-pin-round-female-p
