I sped-read the announcement but still not sure if he concours itself is open to the public and how much the one day of the Villa d'este concourss (as opposed to show at Villa Erbe) cost in USD? Here's most of the announcement from their website https://www.concorsodeleganzavilladeste.com/

"Winter is setting in and our spring rendezvous is gradually approaching. Today, we are already very much looking forward to having the privilege of welcoming you to the upcoming Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Cernobbio from 19th to 21st May 2023.

We have just opened our ticket shop for you to enhance your sense of anticipation. Simply click on this link to get there. You can easily book either day tickets for the Saturday or the coveted and exclusive Friend of the Concorso Package. This includes entry to the event absolutely free and three nights of accommodation right where the action is at the Villa d’Este.

Alongside the information about the tickets, we have another wonderful piece of news for you. Our popular Public Days are back! After the mandatory interruption, we are going to open the extensive gardens of Villa Erba to visitors again over the weekend of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

The Saturday there will already be devoted to the passion of classic motordom. We have pleasure in inviting the international Car Community to an excitingly varied come-together at AMICI & AUTOMOBILI – WHEELS & WEISSWÜRSCHT. It’s all in the name – the format offers a charming Bavarian reinterpretation of the legendary Cars & Coffee events in the USA.

On the Sunday, the romantic parkland of Villa Erba will be the venue showcasing an exceptional and emotional festival for all the senses. The great tradition continues of all the participants in the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este presenting their Historic Cars to the public audience. The impressive parade moderated by Simon Kidston will start in the afternoon. This represents the lavish pinnacle of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and is a glamorous showpiece for exquisite automobile culture.

The Villa sent out a shot of a painting done when the Villa was still a private residence 200 years ago (it's only been a hotel for roughly 150 years) . I couldn't help adding a Ferrari. But don't expect the ladies to be similarly attired in 2023...

When somebody said Villa d'este was sold out already I though they were kidding but one website on the net says the privae eventts are sold out
but the good news is he public days are only 19 euros. I'd check all the sites before flying to Italy to be sure which you can get into...the public days are a little like Pebble Beach at Saturday afternoon where you can see many of the concours cars for free in Concours Village as they come through the grounds. Of course you still have to pay the guard gate and finding parking is awful but yiu gotta admit "free" has a nice ring to it.

On this first day of the Public Days, the park of Villa Erba presents a lavish backdrop for Amici & Automobili, a passionate come-together of the international car community. The name says it all – the format offers a charming reinterpretation of the legendary Cars & Coffee Events in the USA.

Entry for all visitors on Saturday is absolutely free apart from a token service charge.

PUBLIC DAY – IL FESTIVAL.

A long and exalted tradition has all the participants in the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este presenting their motor cars to the general public on the Sunday. Shortly after sunrise, the unique Historic Cars drive into the romantic parkland of Villa Erba in Cernobbio. This borders picturesquely on the banks of Lake Como, and the parade moderated by Simon Kidston starts there on Sunday afternoon. It is a high point of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and a veritable festival for friends of exquisite automobile culture.

Ticket prices start at € 19.00 (for concessions; excluding pre-sale fee) & special reduced Ticket Packages are offered for families.
