Max is working even when he isn't working. The video below is a short segment from a longer interview where Mark Webber asks Max about his "positive distractions" when he is away from the track. Mark seemed to be unaware of Max's activity on sim. The whole discussion is pretty interesting, but particularly the fact that Max just doesn't show up on iRacing and be fast -- he personally puts in around 50 hours of work to prep for iRacing 24-hour events. His work ethic and genuine love for racing seems to be difficult to match.
Nah you're broken, and Max throw Honda and his team, under the bus all the time. He's shaming them for going to Aston. Instead of congratulating them. if Hamilton said its a shame for Merc to build winning engines for another team you would go crazy.
You so clearly only want to read whatever your narrative is. He's only got compliment after compliment for them, and is happy they found a new home with Aston Martin. Find me an example of Max throwing Honda or his team properly under the bus.
Then you were probably sitting in the crowd. In the interview below for instance, because that's what's bothering you, you'll see the reason why many dislike Hamilton so much. Key words; disingenious, sociopath, repetitive, fake:
Explain what was disingenious, sociopath, fake in this video. I get repetitive. All drivers say repetitive things in every interview so I won't include that.
I would say it's not much different from the narrative many sportmen all over the world give to media that constantly solicit them. There are only so many interesting things to answer to the same questions coming over and over.
So we went from ''throwing the team under the bus'' to ''swearing''. Goal posts. Moving. Every single time.
Hamilton doesn't really need to tell the world in every fist sentence of every interview how "grateful" he is. It's not credible. It's sanctimonious BS. He's one of the best at what he does, I don't expect him to be grateful at every second of his life. In his position I expect him to at least answer the question, even better, I expect him to be informative, fun to watch and hear, at least to some extent. Instead I seem to be hearing the pastor of the local church.
That was great. It kinda reminds me of shumacher in the time before computers his big deal outside of F1 was being an early adopter to really working in the gym for fitness benefiting his driving. Then fitness became part of F1 routine. Sim is the newest thing. I'd be interested to hear from the old guy Alonso about his involvement in Sim beyond what F1 teams are traditionally doing?
That's besides the nasty little digs over the years at teammates and competitors Hamilton is known for. And of course the disgusting, biased British media, who do not help Hamiltons persona outside of the Ilse.
"I wish Alonso got pole...And then Ocon did so great!...but "the red bull" is so quick man" He still is utterly unable to even say the name Max.
Alonso also uses his sim very frequently. He's seen in random public servers quite often...interestingly, the cars he's seen driving most often are slow cars that require a lot of momentum such as the formula Vee and Mazda MX5.
Mario Andretti: "One of these days, I’m going to speak with Max Verstappen after he wins 8 world championships to come here and win the 500." Ziggo: "I think he doesn’t want to do Indy. He might want to do Le Mans or Daytona, but not Indy. How can you persuade him?" Mario: "I will persuade him."

So now Max is a god that can do no wrong lol. No denying his talent , I give him slack for being pretty much a kid still , but he is a jerk . Hopefully he matures with grace , I want to see him in a few years with a few more WDC under his belt
funny you say that...Charles Leclerc was asked by (I think French TV) over the weekend about which drivers he gets along best with and said Max is one of his actual friends in the paddock From Canal+ "who are the ten nicest drivers, or the ten with whom you have the most affinity with?" Charles: pierre without a doubt. carlos, lando, george, alex, yuki, lewis, max as well, even though most people don’t think it’s the case but it is. esteban and lance.
