Those are beautiful. It will help you if you find out if they are for US/Swiss cars or not. Cat equipped cars have a shallower trunk and a different set was made.

Gorgeous pieces - but it might be better to call it "half a set", since the full proper set is two suitcases and the two smaller cases.

Unfortunately. And there can't be more than two or three sets made in "blu", even perhaps only this one.
Therefore, the chances to find the reminding cases and have a full complete set again are "about zero".
It's indeed a curiosity for the very rare color, but for somebody who is not looking for a full set.

No need to look at the height: for the shoe box they have a very different shape:
- if the bottom of the case is the smallest side & the case looks to stands "vertical"; with the handle at the top of the flap; and the handle folds down by pushing it forwards or rearwards, like a kind of locomotive pantograph = euro, non cat set.
- if the bottom of the case is the largest side & the case looks to "lie" "horizontal", with the handle in the middle of the top flat and folding down by lying on its side: set for a catalysed car.

Scroll to the end of the first third of the page approximatively; the "non catalysed cars" set is the one in brown; the "catalysed cars" set is the one in black.
The difference in the shoe boxes shape is evident.
Note also that the "cubic vanity case", besides the different type of handles' folding, has also different dimensions between the two sets: the one from the "catalysed cars" set is wider, more of a cube.
We did spend sometimes measuring the two sets a few years back.
