If you have nothing good to say.;)
Max and Red Bull outrageous domination. Two Mercedes back on the podium. Ferrari updates don’t delivers like expected. Perez ridiculous compared with max. Boring track. No retirements again. And people are criticizing Monaco ?
Yes, there was no pressure from anyone else....besides IF Alonso did pass Stroll, the outcome would have been the same regarding points.
BS, thats just sůcking up to the big boss. I won't pass your son, I thought Fernando was a racer...what a sad sight
does Perez failing to beat either Mercedes say more about the driver(s), the track or the car? Not saying RB doesn't deserve it, but at least there's now a team in position to deny RB a clean sweep, if Max ****s up or his car suffers a breakdown.
Yes, why act like a teenager and risk it, when there is nothing to gain from it ? Very sensible from Alonso; what you expect from a mature driver.
I will say this though, Stroll started P5 and ended up P6. Alonso started P8 and ended up P7. So Stroll lost a place and Alonso gained one.
Leclerc's car was still cr@p, but Ferrari could have gotten it to the points if they wanted. 17 laps on hards, 27 softs, then back to hards?! What was that last pit stop supposed to be, Lec had two new sets of softs for the race, but they put 15+ laps old hards??? Didn't Leclerc even say on radio he wanted softs, but the red clowns surprise him at the pit stop with different tires, like what???
Chicken-s cutting of the course aside, Mercedes are the team best on course to challenge Red Bull, imho. They are setting realistic goals for themselves in picking up Red Bull leftovers, and are not in denial that their initial design concept was wrong.
Unlike a team from "over the Alps", I won't name, Mercedes accept their mistakes and correct them without drama.
Yes Spain criticizing is not new, or for Monaco, or Singapore etc. We do have some very boring races at some tracks.
Ferrari News on Twitter: "Charles Leclerc’s last pit stop: Xavi: “Box for hards.” Charles: “No no, let’s go for soft!” Xavi: “Copy that.” Charles: “Box anyway?” Xavi: “Box. We are going hards.” Charles was fast on hards in the end, but… https://t.co/tAweiyPMEZ" / Twitter Another Xavi masterclass. Ignore your driver at all costs. That'll build trust.
In interviews prior to setting foot at Barcelona, Leclerc already looked for excuses for not doing well there. Because the last chicane has been removed, he thought Ferrari would have major problem with left front tyre degradation. I don't know how he will explain his poor performance this weekend, but that becomes common occurance. The less gifted Sainz has done better than him regularly this season.
I enjoyed every race with the exception of Spain. Spain was shockingly bad. Enjoyed the battle with hulk/Zhou/Gasly but that's literally it.
Perez better wake up and up his game now that Mercedes is turning things around. Perez needs to be better than Lewis and Russell in quali and race.
I like Perez, but skill-wise, I would put him behind both Hamilton and Russell. If Mercedes give them a good car, I think Checo won't be able to shadow Verstappen so easily in future.
