Well, it was not so easy. Leclerc was struggling with the first set so they had to change it earlier than expected. Then, as both cars had to pit way earlier than the rest and it chewed the softs, they had to use hards at the end. The strategy was correct given the ****ty circumstances. The problem is in the car, and it´s a way worse problem.

Ferrari really has no clue. With all the tech, sim and CFD they have how can you get it that wrong? I almost wonder if someone crapped up the code in whatever analysis they are using. The other teams seem to be able to move it forward.

Wasn’t it better for them to play nice and get all the points they could or use the Ferrari team approach and maybe crash each other out of the race?

I guess in the end my 458 really is an amazing car. I'll take it out for a ride and remember when ferrari could build a proper race car.

I have almost zero interest in watching another F1 race this season.

Road America IndyCar coming up. I might just schlep out to Wisconsin . . . . It's guaranteed to be competitive.

They build such wonderful street cars. I just wished they would build a quality department that doesn't ok cars that hit the streets with real risks of catastrophic failures in areas like the brakes of that thing with 458 motors where the stickers on the solenoids come off, and work their way done to block oil flow.

Honda has the top F1 powerplant but no supercars. My Gen 2 NSX is fantastic but as usual, Honda didn't adequately support the program prior to, at and after launch.

Boy was that a disaster. Bad tire choices (didn't they learn anything from Friday and Saturday), slow pit stops (some a full second slower than other teams), and two drivers who have already given up and didn't bring anything to the party. All the other drivers on all the other teams were actually racing each other and trying to move forward. Red Bull did their usual outstanding job. Mercedes showed that they are building a strong base and pace, and that both their drivers are hungry to fight for wins. I don't think Ferrari could worse if they wanted to.

Alo knows who pays the bills. If alo is not well out in front this bit of faux generosity and team building will go a long way when he negotiates his salary.

Max fastest lap 3 tenths quicker than Lewis, but Lewis still had DRS open gaining him 4 tenths. Last year this track suited mercedes quite well, too. Merc fans shouldn't jump in joy just yet...

Looking at the video breakdown, Russell overtook the Mclaren(Piastri) when going on to the run off.....which he more than likely would have overtaken while on the track. I didn't see Russell overtake 5 cars while going on the run off. Russell still ended up behind the HAAS car when he rejoined on the track.

he had a great start but he should've been behind the Mclaren. He braked too late and completed the overtake purely because he cut the track
