I am looking for a part Ferrari calls a union. I haven't had any luck with parts suppliers. #102668. Suggestions? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like a pretty standard union fitting. Check the thread on each side and you should be able to come up with something pretty quickly.
I think that photo and name are a little misleading as, I believe, that's the oil dipstick union (so is fairly large and will have some sort of special female seat shape machined into the larger end to accept, and seal, with the spherical end of the dipstick tube. Your photo is from MPC, and they show an "alternative" part available -- not cheap, but is that one also not really available?
I'd check with T Rutlands. They have a lot of used parts from parting out cars. Its not a high demand item. I'd ask for Brian Keegan. He works remotely but has most knowledge of cars of that period.
Sadly, if we have a used one is most likely still not unpacked out of the two semi trailers since the move from GA to WI at the end of July 2020. We do not have a new one in stock. I can tell you one side is 18 x1.5 thread pitch and the other side is 22 x 1.5 thread pitch. You might try: https://exoticautorecycling.com/
double check the thread pitch but this may be what you are looking for: https://hosewarehouse.com/products/9001-22-18-Adaptall-Carbon-Steel-22mm-Male-Metric-x-18mm-Male-Metric-Adapter
Pics for anyone interested, it's a unique part that a std adapter isn't going to work without additional machining. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I wonder if 5068L-15-18 on this page is the same: https://www.hydraulicsdirect.com/5068L-DIN-Light-X-Male-Metric-ES-Seal-p/5068l.htm -- it seems like those fittings are likely standard and these metric compression fittings seem about right based on your pictures. What do you think?
