They're not the same. The spring rates are different, there are torsen diffs front and rear, the calipers are red (very important), the paint is a different colour (frosted white vs solid white), the wheels are forged BBS and a lot lighter, and if you look closely at the front, it has brake ducts (the old one's are blanked off), and if you look closely at the rear, it has a "Rallye" badge.
So instead of just looking like an old fart in a sporty looking Jappa,you're going for the fully fledged old wanker look whom wants to be a 25 year old again. What's next,dying your hair?
Well, I'll be flogging the old one, after driving them back-to-back for a bit to see what all the fuss is about.
One thing I noticed is the tyres.. I put Chinese tyres on the Yaris (and on the Aston for the GAD), and they have been epic, but they look like a copy of the Michelins. I'll see if I can get a pic...
