The wheels look great- better than i would have expected. The X pipe is nice. Who knows about the radiator? But the salvsge title is a killer. Very hard to resell- or just know the money may never come back. Agree the black interior is a bit much.

I’m not ignoring it, but the leather will always be the leather. Fixing it is just money.

Well, we know it didn’t sell at 75K on a different website a couple months ago. I think 55K takes it home. At no reserve It might almost make sense to buy it as a donor. You get some wheels, an X pipe, tubis, And some fairly nice parts just in case your current 456 ever crops out, or to sell. Hell, if his windows and seats work 100% correctly, you can source the micro switches and what not.

The ECU remap has always made me a bit curious. It would run afoul of the latest CARB stuff so it is off the table for me at the moment. Curious about it regardless.

It’s hard to say. It’s very possibly the least desirable color pairing going by market history and obviously a total doesn’t improve anything. Having said that, thoroughly shaken out cars will do well salvage or not. It’s also a 97 which is a definite premium over a 95. I’ll say 56,500 because the market is a bit tepid and the buyer pool is very small especially for a salvage.

I love internet car buying with no PPI’s.

    it’s fascinating.

My guess is out on the C&B 456 since it hit $55k and has 7 days to go.

reality for me is I’ve got too many cars and my wife would kill me if I buy another without letting one go (which I can’t imagine doing) so I guess my candid feedback continues to be “go to the moon” since I’ve already got what I want/need……

That’s a strong bid. I entertained putting down 40 just to set a floor but I’m definitely not interested in this one if it starts with a 6. Thanks to that guy for saving me a few bucks on a PPI.

It does feel nice when there are guys that do us a favor with strong bids….I especially feel like that on the Schedoni sets because I want one but need them to keep selling for strong money so my temptation is tempered!

It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission...how do you think I got my 456M three weeks ago? Until a new lift comes in, her Tesla will staying outside.

Oh don’t worry, I’ve burnt that match!

I’ve got a tiny house and my wife threatens another dog if I exceed my “marital Motorsports allotment”.

She claims 3 motorcycles and 7 cars is too much and unfortunately I have to agree.

I did meet a smart guy lately that JV’s all his “toys” so he doesn’t have to fight with his wife about it and his various Partner/buddies store all of them (cars and boats)….

yeah I think it'll end up around the BaT number when all is said and done.
Then again in miami never can tell what'll happen. maybe some rich dude comes and grabs it up - sends to The Collection for service...
and voila - low mileage perfect 456 in a stunning color...

Read the BaT thread…seller very cryptic. No cold start, really no info at all..
Also he had it for sale elsewhere while on BaT, although BaT took responsibility for that…
    Car need ALOT of work.
