A properly functioning HVAC makes a huge difference to me when it comes to living with these cars

4 invoices from 4 different Melbourne mechanics over the last 5 years, all “regas A/C, all seems fine, see how it goes” Probably another thing that drove the previous owner mad. Just ridiculous and lazy.

There's a risk that the hoses you buy from a Ferrari parts place may have been sitting on the shelf for a long time, becoming porous.

Take your old hoses to EnZed and see if they can reuse your existing fittings on new hose.

Funny how people differ - first instruction I gave the workshop when I first got my 308 - pull the aircon out, I don’t want it. Compressor has been sitting (wrapped up) on my garage floor for 21 years now! I can’t stand airconditioning and bowling along with the roof off and the wind in my hair is just how I like it!

while this is correct if the car does NOT have AC , but otherwise cheapskate material,as I said some people should NOT own a Ferrari / Champagne taste with beer money.

    What do you drink?

My advice to Anyone wanting to own a 360 and actually use it regularly is budget $10,000 a year for maintenance, there you go [emoji4]

Not sure about the Mondi, but in the 308, you have to pass the hoses through the sill and THEN crimp the fittings on - they won't go through, otherwise. You've been warned. Just ship it up to @Gizzi , and he'll sort it out - he loves people that like paying more...

Actually I’ve no experience in the 12 cylinder cars so I couldn’t comment but these 20 odd year old cars with dated f1 technology will need refurbishing at some point plus the gearboxes get a hammering, the engine and chassis are the best bits .

Frankly, unless you own a Mondial, nobody cares what you think.

I'll start pulling things apart later in the year when I have some time off. What could possibly go wrong
