Wow! I just saw the new 1/5 scale Ferrari 250 GTO model that is advertised on CollectorStudio.Com. I don't know if you guys have visited this gallery or website before (http://www.collectorstudio.com)
, but they always seem to have the most amazing collectables. This large 250 GTO model would make a perfect match to the 1/5 Enzo I bought from them - I hope Santa is good to me this year!

Its look great, great add to any collection.. I collect 1/43 - 1/24 - 1/18 but 1/5 is to big for my house. My wife can kill me if she saw something like that !!!!

I second the claim that Collector's Studio is amazing! Any motorsports enthusiast should stop by their gallery/store if they're in Toronto. It's worth doing so just to look at some of the historic items they have.

The room is not as big a deal as the $$$!!! By the time you buy 5 of those 1/5 models, you could buy a real Ferrari! (Not a real 250GTO, but I'd rather any Ferrari that actually drives over a few models, no matter they are models of.)

So with 20 years of savings maybe it would have been possible to buy the originally mentioned 1/5 model

IMHO a missed opportunity: if you really want to build an accurate model, you might as well start with an accurate chassis.....

The metal work was impressive, but the accuracy in overall body shape was poor, and overall it just appears to be a large toy.

Very cool. I've always liked that sculpture. I remember when the edition was first released and am pretty sure I saw one in person back then. Might have bee at Jacques Vaucher's gallery in NYC.
