I have a 1985 308 QV and am moving to Dallas area. Are there some good independent shops in the area? Needing a belt service soon. Thanks!

Welcome to Dallas. Look up Norwood Auto Italia in Carrollton, they do excellent work and they have reasonable pricing.

Norwoods of course. You should check out Boardwalk as well, they were competitive last time I was shopping for a major. I personally use ATS Exotics up in Denton for most of my work, simply due to proximity.

I am a longtime Norwoods fan, but just recently took my 355 to Boardwalk with great results. They were able to get me in quicker and get the work done.

When I purchased my car. Boardwalk Ferrari did the full service, great guys, great service.

they made me feel that my little 328 was as important to them as any other car in their garage.

the manager, Steve, owns a 308 IIRC.

Thank you for your replies! My QV needs a belt change and my location in Iowa has not helped my cause. Should have the car there by the end of July!

Time to upgrade your AC! It's been around 100 and humid in Dallas this week.

Yeah, doesn't matter if your A/C works perfectly. Doesn't help. :)

Try upgrading your AC. It will work as good as any modern car.
    Have a read.
