Max at 25 yo vs Lewis at 25 yo stats.....Max wins.....and Max will already have a 3rd WDC added to his name. Lewis doesn't get lucky till Lewis turns 29yo.
So stats are legit again? Great! I'll be posting Lewis stats more again, I got a boat load of extra info ... let me go pull it up
Didn't Lewis get bankrolled by Mclaren at age 13yo? What age did Max get bankrolled by a sponsor or team?
Wasn't Max fortunate to have a father who was a F1 driver? What age did Hamilton's dad even see a F1 track, 40yo? You're right, the fact that Hamilton needed a sponser unlike Max was was born into says a lot
Max is the youngest driver in history to start an F1 race (17). How did that happen? You guys act like Hamilton is the ONLY guy to have “advantages”.
The difference between you and me is I think they’re both great. Who’s better? I don’t GAS. Both have enjoyed good fortune as they should, based on talent.
Max father was a F1 driver. His mother raced karts. His first cousin was a endurance car driver. Ron Dennis a business man who never drove a racecar. And you saying Hamilton had the advantage? This is why its hard to tell wether you guys are joking or being serious sometimes.
Better than he would have done with no F1 dad. Lets not even debate if having an F1 dad is a advantage or not, that would just be silly.
Schumacher was a different era in F1. He had unlimited testing and he and team(Benetton) made Ferrari a winning team.
Could be returned to yourself: are you joking or trying to be serious? Before being a business man, Ron Dennis was a mechanic. He got close to race cars enough. One of the anecdotes he disliked the most was to be remembered was that he was indeed the guy who forgot to put the last one-gallon petrol can in Jack Brabham's BT33 tank at Brands Hatch in 1970; Jack lost the race for the lack of that one-gallon petrol, and R.D got a good kick in the #ss from an angry "Black Jack"...
If there had been unlimited testing for all teams in recent times, Mercedes would sooner have lost its engine advantage. So not 7 but perhaps 3, 4 championships
The engine is not the only factor. William has Merc engine, Haas has Ferrari engine etc. I would realistacally say Hamilton would have 9-10
Just to say that R.D wasn't born a "business man" as you seem to imply, that's all; nothing more, nothing less. As a young man, he got a lot of grease under his fingernails; which makes his achievements even more remarkable, at least to me. I'm old enough to remember the times when he was scorned upon. He wasn't called "Frank the W@nker", as Frank Williams was, but it was close. I'm a great fan of R.D; and of Frank Williams (and they both owed something to Bernie Ecclestone). Rgds
