488 Pista A/C vent

Hi all!

just wondering if your air from the A/C comes out in the upper dash even if i set it the center vent manually. It fogs up the windshield really bad esp at night. View attachment 3541897 View attachment 3541898

 

Here is my problem even when i set the vent manually to the center.

Did you set the re-circulate button in lower middle of the AC display? Cant’t tell from the pic.

 

Yes i did.

 

My 458 did this required a new plenum motor and controller. Dealer had to get parts from Maranello.

 

I think your Pista deserves a nicer garage.

 

LOL that's not my garage that's the shop where the exhaust was installed.

I ran my Pista today (already 85 degrees and climbing); set all parameters of ac functionality. I did not get that humid vapor on the lower inside of the windshield. I would connect Freon to the low pressure side port and determine if it’s lack of sufficient Freon. I had a shock leak at 1000k so things happen despite low mileage.

 

The only guy who can do it in mu city. But it’s safe at home now.
