1986 Ferrari 208 GT Turbo up for auction. Later version with the 328 GTB bodywork. If was in the market for something different I would check this one out and accept the import costs as part of the price. It would be one of like two in the US and JG has the other one. :D

It needs some mods to bring it back to original but that's part of the fun.

Oh and yes, it's collectible. It's a Ferrari with a NACA duct. Duh. :)

There are more than just two GTB Turbos in the US. I have one (a late 88) and there is another blue one that was for sale recently, and may still be for sale.

    I think I know your one... :D:D

That model is a fantastic car: fast and powerful, exciting, exotic and very rare.

Hope you still enjoy riding it

There is not an engine bay picture, unfortunately.

"Buyers premium 27%," what does it mean?

    Thank you

    Ciao

Those in the know - meaning anyone that has driven one! understand that the 328 turbo version (GTB or GTS Turbo) is the best, ie most fun, of any 308/328 version to drive. Michael is right, there are several in this country. My Blu Chiaro GTB is technically for sale and I have offered it privately to a handful of people, but I have never advertised it. I also imported a red 1988 GTB turbo which I have since sold to a friend/client. Anthony (1600 veloce on BAT) also owns one.

After reading this entire thread and looking back at the history of my car, I realize it is the car EMILIO used to own and is also pictured in post #51 of this thread!

I didn't know about this one: very nice sample and rare color too. It looks incredible but that car is four times rarer than an F40, gives similar driving emotions, but costs 20 times less: this fact can go on forever, imho...

Correct, and it stars on my book too: world is small, isn't it?

Yes, it seems to be the poster child for the GTB / GTS turbo chapter in your book! It still has the Italian dealer sticker/tag on the back above the GTB turbo, just like in your book!

That means at least 1% of the whole GTB turbo production currently is in the USA...

    Ciao
