    Hi,

I’ve paid for a 1979 GT4 coloured wiring diagram from Paul Bennet, but I’m unable to get hold of him.

Does anyone have coloured hi-res one? I’m willing to pay again.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I too am looking now for a high resolution color wiring diagram that I can print out in large format. I have a 1976 208 GT4 which I expect will be the same diagram as a 308 GT4 Euro.

I've seen on multiple discussion threads that Paul (http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/Wiring308.php / pbennett @ macnet.com) was creating these but is no longer responding to requests. I too attempted to purchase from his website and contact him but no response.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

Check with user afterburner, he's created color wiring diagrams for a lot of our cars!

Hi Absostone, I am looking for a PDF or similar electronic version that I can print out in large format, ideally in color. I am currently dealing with an electrical issue on my 1976 208 GT4 and could use this to help diagnose. I'm sure it would also be good to have for future issues.

    Thanks!
    John

This is a copyrighted document which I bought. Unfortunately the originator no longer responds. However I do not intend to send copies out willy nilly to any tom dick or harry that asks. So, Peter, tell me a bit more about your car and why you need it before I will consider sending it to you. I think that's only fair to the originator

Sorry about that, I didn't know about the back story of the wiring diagram. My very good friend drew up all the color wiring diagrams for almost every model Alfa, did it as a hobby and for the love of the marque and sent them out as per request on the AlfaBB, free of charge. His diagrams were pure artistry, using Veglia or Jaeger fonts for gauges too. He drew up a custom one for my '66 GTV, I build my own harness with heavier gauge wire for brighter head lights, custom relays, electric pumps, etc. I printed and hung as part of wall art in my garage, and if he was alive, he would honor my request with pure enthusiasm. Wanted to do the same for the GT4 that I acquired during Covid. I rebuilt the motor, installed new headers, exhaust, carpets, upgraded to QA1 shocks and springs and added a heavier rear sway bar. I'm not sure my reason meets your criteria or if I passed the interview. I guess time will tell. Thanks for your consideration. Peter.

    Hello Members,
Have read the threads left again and thought I would add some detail, purchased a 79 308 GT4 with electrical issues and the service manual I have is a copy, The wiring diagram is poor, and I can't make it out, I have tried looking online and come up with dead ended links. Can someone guide me in the right direction, looking for a nice color rendition.
    Thanks so much.

I am still working on those - really hard to read scans, and inconsistencies in the wire colors on both ends of the same. It'll take me more time to complete the US versions.

But I do have the 208GT4 diagram now.

Would love to have a copy if I can. Give me something to work with and yes, the shop manual is impossible to read. Please let me know how to receive anything you have.
    Thanks so much

For the GT4 I have both the Euro '76 single and double distributor diagrams, and the Euro 208 (there was no US version from what I know). Surprisingly, the 208 is very different in some critical areas.

The same is true for the US versions - it's not a simple copy paste operation from the Euro to the US. I am working on it but there are at least 3 different US diagrams depending on the years. I need to cross reference to find what is what as some of the parts indexes aren't correct and wire colors differ at either end.
