Greg use to be my friend

Well, I decided some time back to take a break from fchat as I'm a sensitive soul **cough cough** and some of the posting here was getting out of hand.

So, I used this huge amount of time to repair my pool deck (Neralee fell through the wood planks I pulled up and injured her entire leg just before we went to South America)

Then I fixed the race seat in the 355, fitted new A050s , took it for a drive to Toowoomba on all the back roads ........... did I say how much I love this car

We go to Peru, Ecuador and Galapagos (I wasn't lying Adrian) , Machu Picchu is just a bunch of rocks on the top of a mountain, they needed a spirit level.

Galapagos is not being looked after properly but that's another story, loved swimming with the sea lions but never saw any marine iguanas.

Get home and last Friday night I get severe pains in my kidneys so Neralee takes me to GCUH where they put me in and give me Fentanyl (sp) for the pain and next morning the kidney stone has passed and I feel great, best I've felt for a while (must be the drugs)

Doctor comes in and I think he's going to clear me to go home but instead he says they are admitting me as the CT scan was clear for kidney stones but they found shadows/lesions on my liver and other issues.

As it was Saturday there was not much going to happen over the weekend so I checked out with them issuing 4 referrals for CT, MRI, fine needle biopsy and full body PET scan priority one (me thinking yeah right, public system, I'll be dead before I get tested)

Monday I book all these tests bar the biopsy (need results from CT and MRI before they can schedule it) with a private company which was going to happen over the following 2 weeks

Monday night I get a text from QLD health saying they have scheduled the MRI for Tuesday morning 9am , 3 days before the private company so I think , wow, this is unusual but thankful and get the MRI then in the afternoon get the CT done with the private company then see my GP who has the results from the private company for the CT but not the MRI.

GP has a smile on his face as the CT report says I'm in the clear, happy days

I sent a copy of the report off to Greg and he calls me shortly after getting it, and checking the scan, and finds that he disagrees with the CT report and says I have cancer of the liver but using much fancier terms to make me use google.

Obviously the young surgeon in GCUH agrees with Greg because his face was very solemn and was very surprised when he told me he beieved I had cancer and I said IDGAF (if you ever read this mate I'm sorry I was semi-rude to you for being so young [28] )

So currently I'm waiting for the MRI report as it can take up to two weeks for QLD health to allocate a radiologist to check the MRI and write a report.

This didn't sit well with me so I went to the hospital that did the MRI and got the scan, made a copy and sent to Greg ............... I'm hoping the MRI counters the CT and I can go back to my GOM status , or if Greg confirms the cancer then I can start fighting this thing with modern medicine rather than vitamins and welcome to country smoke and mirrors

Seeing the liver specialist this Monday, luckily I'm not Steve or Gary or I'd be in trouble

If Greg is right I've got about 3-5 years depending on the rest of the tests according to Dr Google

Just enough time to upset the remainder of the world population and insult as many people as possible
