BTW; somebody is mentioning -50 kg compared to AF and 70 PS more, maybe this time Ferrari is playing the game by annoucing lower specs than reality like Mclaren ? Would be interesting...
The presentation vidoe is also the best in recent years, this will be the first but not last of XX stradale models.

Reduced? Less footprint? That would be very odd.

Yesp, normally for engine heat ventilation, the ducts should have been lower towards the tail, putting in that position an dheight suggest they also helpt to energize flow on the wing, but Ferrari is not telling all the secrets, aero part is not deep analyzed, they speak about the wing and sduct but nothing on the rest, front part especially

From Autocar UK write-up "Ferrari has yet to disclose the lap time the SF90 XX achieved around Fiorano, but Galliera was bullish in telling Autocar that the gap to the regular SF90 is “significant” – so much so that the brand deems it worthy of a dedicated announcement event later this year. The existing SF90 is the current record holder for road cars at the circuit, having lapped it in 1:19.00 (to the nearest second)."

Sorry, rechecked, they are same dimensions, still super small dimensions compared to this kind of supercars, years ago everybody was using 345 mm rear tyre, now it's 315..

But they are exactly the same.

PS: The 345 rear tyre was only used on the Enzo and the LaFerrari.

I think they vent it back into the cabin so you don’t get cold and can stay nice and cozy with the top down. LOL

Yeah, Ferrari reserves them for Halo cars apparently, Lambo and Pagani use them more often.
It always semt a small dimensions for a heavy hybrid car like SF90, but they have their reasons of course.

Certainly wouldn’t call it beautiful, but it has killer presence. I’m sure there will be plenty of little details to drool over when seen IRL. I love what they’ve done with the rear end. Agree with others that the wing looks terrible but I honestly don’t mind it in this application. -10 kg and + 30 hp seems a bit underwhelming but then again the new GT3 RS is actually heavier than the standard GT3 so it will all really come down to the added performance from additional downforce.

It’s sad that Ferrari can’t release a new car nowadays without using Lambo V10 sounds at least once in the video….

At the end of the day, considering weight reduction and downforce, it is clear Day355 was super right when it said cars was XX inspired but very watered down, hopefully hypercar is braver and more extreme, since it's time to bring downforce to higher levels while 10 years later they are still not surpassing LaF aero load...

Stile a beautiful car which will make good laptime due to combined power, AWD, electronics, aero and RWS. Release video is awesome

The SF90 XX version has bene tested for many, many years. There was talk with the Racing department to launch this car first as the successor of the FXXK or as a side XX model. Purely for the track.
The quickest cars at Fiorano are actually 488M - 488Challenge - FXXK - in that order.
The Fiorano times are altered for political reasons; not that it should matter.
My sources? The test and development drivers that are involved with the Challenge and XX series.
I seriously doubt this car will be faster then the 488Challenge Evo.... but I'd like to be surprised.
I'll quickly find out the truth next time I'm on track again....

Still, it's a darn nice car that screams agressive design and deserves to be pushed hard; not a garage queen.

If you are referring to my post, read it again, I said I was told in February before I was invited to buy one, and in reality it’s nothing like that.. 1st time I’ve known that to happen so disappointed tbh..the more I get my head round this car, double the price of AF SF90, it’s pointless, unusable on Uk roads, would look a **** driving to the circuit in it, and it’s not a great track car. If I’ve got to trailer that to the circuit I would rather trailer a 488 Challenge or EVO, Ferrari are just bending to the shareholders now! Looking at my AF SF90 boot with great surprise now.. lol

    Got it.
There's no way any F road car can rival with challenge of FXXK EVO now, that's for sure.

0:31 and again at 0:36 in the video. That’s a Audi/Lambo V10. Rest of video is all Ferrari V8. They did it in the Pista video around 1:04 (among other American cross-plane sounds for some reason?). And one other recent release but I don’t have time to go back through all of them and find it.

So not a joke, but maybe an exaggeration.

Looks much better than those leaked shots. Rosso corsa winning for me right now, strangely enough. Wonder if there will be any parts we can apply to the standard straddle or spider…eyeing that vent around the rear glass[emoji848]. Keep hearing that the sound is greatly improved.

Yeah, I think 488M is pretty much unreachable for any road car on Fiorano.
will be nice to see how fast will be next LaF succssor and its XX version, but I still think 488M can only be matched by a potential 296 GT M in future years

Correct, I’m not going to get someone into trouble here, but I know it’s time more or less, and not faster than 488 Challenge EVO, actually still a gap. When Ferrari said ‘significant’ over SF90 at 1.19 they are being economical with the truth depending on spec and this boost credit nonsense, don’t be getting too excited about the time, it’s clearly quicker, and why I’m really considering keeping the AF Coupe with room for a weekend bag, and going 488 Challenge route. I think this launch today makes the AF SF90 stand out.
