If they really want to lose weight they should throw out the giant battery…

Hoping… think the exhaust option is being considered, I would go for that for sure. Agree on Rosso corsa comment.

I am curious about how much boost it actually gives? the car has around 30hp more in theory but knocking off 2.5 seconds a lap solely from the boost (which is what people here are claiming) seems very significant for just a 30hp increase

2.5 seconds.. I haven’t heard that, are you referring to the 0.25s?

Now the most important figure for a new version is not the power increase or weight reduction, it is the price increase :D

YES! I also hope! A Ferrari must always be the fastest everywhere!
We also need cars that can be the fastest on the track, the other car brands are not resting either. I don't care about all the whining some people do here.

Also, we run slicks on our F488C EVOs, not street tires, which is worth more than a second depending on track length and track conditions.

I don't think you understand what you wrote either...
The SF90 XX can be used both on the track and on the street, in both cases it is faster than the SF90 and in the long run it will be cheaper with one car than with two. A challenge race car is a completely different animal.

??? Haha.. really on the street.. as I said you don’t understand my post, the SF90 XX is neither a street car or a race car, it’s master of none. Don’t kid yourself people going to be tracking these thinking it’s a great race car, a 488 Challenge EVO is a better track car..

You don't pay much attention to what I write...
488 Challenge EVO is a RACE car.
Everyone punishes themselves as they wish :)
It's your choice, but don't write that XX isn't worth it, because your reasoning is simple arrogance.

My XX will never see a track. In fact, I don’t track any of my cars. That’s what my custom sim is for:cool:

If I was going to be serious about track use, I’d buy a purpose built race car.

Though I might prefer it, as I have an AF spider, I’m in line for a coupe. No complaints though. Not quite special enough for a spider;)

So the storage space under the front hood will even be more limited than the SF90?

I hope they will use those rear lights in future models. Really like them! A bit similar to the Bugatti Chiron...

First impressions, car looks really good. Love that element. The aero seems reasonable without being outstanding (both Senna and even GT3 RS are more) and other elements seem a bit underwhelming. The big caveat is whether the sum of the parts delivers a car that just works beyond expectations. Like a Speciale or 812 GTS, two cars that turned out to be better than my expectations, for example. Let’s see what the lap time is. Doesn’t mean too much to owners except knowing the car can perform well on track and therefore justifies the name. And the price…. Each version will be pretty rare though, rarer than 812C. Back to the looks, I think they have made a great job where it counts.
