As you can see my original one only reads "quartz" like the one Selleck wore. I have 2 of these now. I ordered a second Momentum last week to swap my second "quartz" as well.

I also dig the Pepsi GMT you have there. I am looking into those - but undecided if I want to go vintage with a 1675, a 16750, or go all modern with the 216750. I guess it depends on my own patience level at this point.

Which one is yours? And do you know which one Selleck wore? I have read it was a 1675 (because he got it from his father) but it was likely a 16750 because that would have been consistent with the 1980s. Of course the 16710 LOOKS the same, but has a little bit more functionality.

My Rolex is the same Selleck wore too. It's a GMT Master I. Exactly the same.

The GMT Master II didn't began production until 1988.

 

As an aside - just about the only shirts I wear are from Paradise Found - the same shirts that he wore. Today I am wearing a "Jungle Birds" pattern shirt. He wore red and I have seen photos of him in a black one. I have a few different shades of blue and recently found a purple one.

My Momentum came in on Monday. I got the orange and the black straps. Debating if I want to get the jubilee bracelet as well, just for another look while I wear the watch.

Looking for the Pepsi GMT but haven't decided if I want to go with the 1675, 16750, 16710 or hold out for a brand new one. I think Magnums was supposed to be a 1675 from his dad, but actually was probably a 16750 since that was the "new" model at the time.

I have also learned that there is another "homage" watch to the original Chronosports - they are called the Chronoports - note the lack of the S in ChronoSports. They have a duck on the dial. I prefer the Momentum.

Either way, this is a fun watch to own.

I think it’s an actual Ferrari watch, but it’s not a “good” one. Looks very similar to one I bought years ago from store.Ferrari.com. Check the beck, it should say Ferrari too.

This arrived a few months ago and it's still in the box. For whatever reason, it just doesn't do it for me. Plastic is still on it, still have the box it was shipped in. I took it out and put it around my wrist, but the bracelet hasn't been adjusted or any other wear. I'll let it go for $280 and will ship to you in the lower 48. Payment by Venmo or I guess you could mail me a check. I'll post in the classifieds when I get around to it.
