I just won't accept other people's stupidity. You don't understand that a track car also makes sense, it doesn't have to be faster than a racing car to be worth buying and using on the track, because it gives a completely different experience, especially with street tires.
There’s no storage space under the hood. In fact this is now used to provide extra cooling for the car
Confirmed and right in the press release. The competizione was 999 coupes and 599 targa. So this is 200 units less. https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corporate/articles/sf90-xx-stradale-and-sf90-xx-spider-the-first-road-going-cars-in-the-xx-programme
Problem with this car is that it is a road legal car. Cheapens the XX badge. And really cheapens all the other XX cars that preceded it (599 and FXX K)
Wasn't part of the initial round. My dealer seems to think it's still a possibility. Not holding my breath, and won't be the end of the world if not.
Having the AF option covers the VS criteria for the most part...wonder if they'll be making more XX Straddle variants?
Sorry to hear that, i was TOLD that someone like you shouldn't worry... Considering they made a couple of hundred more than first planned ,planned 699, 499 (officialy God know how many they will make unofficialy) there still is a small chance. Maybe they want to make hype high by not "choosing someone like us. The good thing, at least for both of us we don't feal it is the end of the world. Greetings my friend.
Yeah, I worries. Dealer submitted the name, and now we wait. No cars are coming soon, so who knows! Otherwise, may be time for a 458 SpecialeA[emoji6]
I think the car looks fantastic. This is an aggressive looking car. A but disappointed they were only able to knock off 10k off the weight. I think that shows where Ferraris head is. They don’t care about weight which is fine. It’s working for them. Kudos however to them in the rest of the car. Well done.
The truth is that we are reaching the limit of a concept. Gains in weight and power can only be marginal. Which is totally normal. These cars are now purely speculative objects at the expense of a real substance.
Yes but this car caters to those who already have the 488 Challenge and possibly a bunch of other cars street and race, there are always those who have to chose by dropping one so they can pick the other and there is nothing wrong with that but this car isn't aimed to them. Your point about the XX being neither or isn't really considered by people who simply buy toys and this is a toy which is sold out by the way therefore all discussions past this point as to how smart was Ferrari's decision to develop build and eventually deliver such car are negated by the fact that the demand exceeds supply and they are sold out so their decision was the correct one and the XX has its place in their line up.
Their heads are in Wall Street.. to steal from another thread, 5% stiffer springs, 3% more power, 0.6% less weight, 80% higher price.. Genius.
so the best ever ferrari v8 can't reach the power at the crank of a 765lt...and they can't significantly reduce the weight because there is a law that forbids them the use of a carbon fiber chassis (the law of milking). Remarkable
This and Mansory have nothing to do with each other in my eyes. I love the look of this but don’t like a single Mansory.
