Peter S. Yung & Robert Yung, Ferrari Chassis #0060 M and #0168 ED

0168 ED is currently undergoing a complete restoration to the 1953 Sebring configuration.
I am seeking information about Peter S. Yung and Robert Yung of Long Island/NY who in the very early 1950s used to own and race Ferrari 195 S Berlinetta Touring chassis #0060 M which they later traded in when they received Ferrari 225 Export Coupé Vignale chassis #0168 ED.
I am particularly interested in learning more about:

Where did the Yung Brothers come from?
Did they race any other Ferraris besides the aforementioned 0060 M and 0168 ED?

I am also seeking a photo showing the REAR of the 225 Export Coupé Vignale #0168 as raced at Sebring 8 March 1953 by the Yung Bros. on race number 45.

Does anybody know more about the little sun sticker or emblem attached to the right front fender of 0168 ED at Sebring 1953, directly above the chromed side stripe? Was this sticker on the right side only or on both sides? Is this a sponsor sticker? A sun? Some unknown oil company perhaps? Have these stickers/emblems also been seen on other cars raced at Sebring?
The information is needed for a proper restoration of 0168 ED currently undergoing in Switzerland.

I know the question is aimed a couple of years earlier than their forte, but I wonder if Admiral Dinosaur @Admiral Goodwrench and Dinosaur Jr. @Bryanp might have something in their photo archives that might be of help for the sun on the fender(?).

 

Marcel, the sun sticker is very hard to see at that angle. Is it possible it is the same as the Chinese marking on the aircraft of the Chinese volunteer air force in WW2?

I think the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Apparently they entered a 375 MM (c/n unknown to me) in the 1954 Sebring 12 Hours with race #6 but it was one of the "Entered cars that did not arrive".

Try Revs Library : they have an high resolution pic of 0168ED at 1953 Bridgehamtpon still with the same sticker (on both side at Bridgehamtpon).

 

The sticker was on both sides in the same place.

Robert was a college student from China then, according to David Seielstad, so Brian's @Rifledriver guess on the sticker looks to be closer than any possible oil company, etc.

0168 ED will be shown at Pebble Beach this August.
It is fitted with original engine 0170 ET. Sadly the owner of the original engine 0168 ED is "unmotivated" to sell the original engine.
0168 ED is red book Classiche certified.
The car will be presented at Pebble in the Sebring 1953 configuration where Yung-Yung raced it with race #45.
And that is why we need a photo showing the REAR of the car at Sebring (to see what kind of race number, possibly with a white roundel? was on the trunk).

1953 is the first year for Sebring to be an FIA race, so for anyone with Motorsport Magazine or other high-quality overseas print media, check your archives.

Marcel, they all had rear numbers that year and those with roundels had rear roundels.

Great profile of the lamp on the tail that must be for illuminating the race number/roundel.

We do have this pic, of course.
But cannot see how the race number looked like, where exactly it was positioned on the left rear, was it really on a white roundel or not, etc.
I need to find a three quarter rear view or full rear shot. And we've been searching for several years already.
I am more than happy to pay a good finders fee.

@Bryanp Any chance that heirs of the Cincinnati Gang would have pics from Sebring 1953?
Lunken/Hassan finished 6th to Yung/Yung in 8th.

 

I would suggest to consult Willem Oosthoek, author of several books on early post war racing in the USA.

 

His book(s) started earliest in 1957.......
