Stradman
How about none of the above? As much as I love cars I find these channels cliche and repetitive. Good Lord she is intolerable.
I never watched any videos until the pandemic. Even then I could not make it past a few minutes of a super car blondie video. Same goes for shmee and seen through glass, personalities and voices are so irritating. I second Harry’s garage, ratarossa, throttle house, straight pipes
On IG I blocked her profile and tap “Not Interested” on everything it suggests with her in it. Now she rarely appears in my feed. Back in 2020 it was relentlessly pushing her vapid poop on my feed.
Me too! I’ve blocked them both but I also block/ignore anyone that shares their videos. The other trend I despise now is the incessant focus on the price tag instead of the design, history or the car itself. “World’s most expensive Ferrari! Blah, blah, blah”.
Theres loads for different markets, however what i cant stand is the constant shouting and screaming alot of them tend to do, with stradman by far on #1, after 10 seconds i want to make myself deaf with his constant yelling. he does have alot of cool cars in his vids though, so i tend to watch his videos without any sound.... Also Effspot is great fun to watch on youtube!
The most annoying thing about the English presenters is the laugh speak every comment seems to have a fake laugh as part of it.
I watch Doug, Hoovie, Leno and Harry. I cant stand Tavarish and you couldnt pay me to watch Supercar Blondie or Normal Guy Supercar. Both are insufferable.
Dylan Mulvaney? I wish she was, then Ferrari prices would drop like a rock and I could buy more cars!
As I definitely underline the positive feedback on Harry's Garage, still one content creator is missing for me, which is Henri Catchpole (actually on Hagerty, earlier on Carfection). Had a chance to meet him in person during the ***** Days and speaking to him, he is as pleasant as he presents himself in his videos. When watching car related videos on YT, I seek for content for content for 'grown-ups': no click-bait headlines, no shouting, no whining about unexpected service costs, no the-most-expensive-whatsover - just reflected content and opinions where somebody had his thoughts being sorted before start talking.
Agreed, however people like us, are not the people that bring in the views where they live off, sadly for us that means we get more and more clickbait titles and talking about most expensive etc, as that is what the younger viewers get a kick from....
Lol. I like the Car Care Nut's channel. Mostly Toyota and Lexus. But, a very large info to BS ratio. Wish there was someone like him in the Ferrari YouTube universe. T
Jay Leno's Garage and Harry's Garage. None of the rest are particularly good. Just antics, fake controversy, and asinine giddiness. All the best, Andrew.
Doug DeMuro. He seem genuinely enthusiastic and has a solid platform. A guy I'd like to sit down and talk cars over a beer or two. Joe
My favorite channels are Jay Leno, followed by Harry's. I sometimes watch Doug; I think it's great he did his own thing from the get-go and got successful, by just being himself. Honorable mention to JayEmm, I do like his channel as well.
The thing about the "influencer" trade is that it's just like pro basketball. Sure, the top pros make millions but 99% of those who call themselves basketball players make virtually nothing or absolutely nothing. However, anyone who calls themselves a basketball player has a real skill and can probably beat the heck out of anyone they come up against on a public court. The internet "influencer" clan are mostly unskilled and unemployed, begging for scraps at best and pumping crappy products because they're the only ones who will give them anything. Being an "influencer" gives them an excuse as to why they can't hold a real job. It's "But I'll go viral any day now..." Just my opinion of course. Disclaimer: I have a teenage daughter who is my source on this topic.
