Marketing and fear of a backlash, which Lewis would be only too happy to support. He's a cancer in the locker room.

How can a flawed character be good for marketing?

No, I'm saying what company goes out and looks for flawed/bad characters? Where in marketing schools do they teach this strategy?

    Yep, you're right...
F1 doesn't operate like EVERY other sport, except in Alonso's case, I suppose.
"Cancer in the locker room"? I guess YOU know that from all the time you've spent in the M-B locker room?
But, I hold it near to my heart that, assuming Max wins another 3 WDC's, you'll be typing the same crap about him in 2027. Especially if he ties Michael...

Oh, don't take my word for it. "With so many accolades to his name, Lewis Hamilton is best known for his activism and marketability." NOT FOR HIS DRIVING. :D

You're joking, right? I don't know what you do for a living, but easily 80% of marketing where a celebrity is involved is "managing" your star. Don't get me wrong, though. Mercedes is far from blameless.

    They hired this guy...

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

And by putting up with his ******** and coddling him they enabled him to turn into this guy...

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

By that point they were stuck with him. A guy who believes his own press.

Next time you hear Lewis complaining on the radio (which everyone knows by now is very public) about the car, and therefore about the team that brought him 7 WDCs, you should repeat to yourself "We race together" and remind yourself that this is indeed the very same team and the very same engineers that carried him to those WDCs and not the other way around.

Lewis kisses up and kicks down, greedily lapping up all available credit while deflecting any blame. He's just a **** person and does not inspire those around him to be their best. Toto is the true leader of the hundreds of winners at Mercedes, and he's running out of excuses to justify Lewis' behavior.

So many dumb things you stated, I don't know where to start.
First. Lewis is known for his activism? Not racing? Ask ten people on this chat how they became to know Lewis. Ask any group. They will not say I watch his activism on TV.
Second. You describe his bad character again. Without giving a reason why Mercedes still hire him. Ferrari had talks with hiring him. RedBull had talks about hiring him. But you say Mercedes is "stuck" with him. Mercedes can legally not renew a contract. So they are not "stuck ".
And Hamilton can become who wants to become. Who are you to tell somebody who to be? Did you get mad when Schumacher became a cheater? When Max became a jerk? Yeah you quiet about that. But you want to talk about Lewis, a grown man who can do what he wants.
Clearly you live a fake fantasy that Lewis is terrible person and no one wants any part of him. But reality is he is still driving, other teams have approached him, fellow teammates and driver speak highly of him. Pictures of friends and his team hanging out and jet skiing together. Yes real pictures. Real evidence i see with my own eyes. Celebrities coming to see him. Fans on social media. He took all the drivers out for dinner. I can't even post all the real evidence I have that contradict what you say. This is real evidence I see with my own eyes. What I don't see as many people hanging with Max, and coming to see Max, and don't get me started on Schumacher, he was a real loner.

    Agree on this point.
Seems like respect is not huge for him within the team.
I can’t imagine Todt calling Michael during a race to tell him shut up and drive !

Are you still working for Ham's PR company ?

Albon needs your help more than Ham. Have you thought about switching companies ?

Last week Toto said that it was only a matter of days before Lewis would sign a new contract for 2024.
It is now more than one week later, and still no signed contract (I guess the "I know the car is bad, just drive it" radio message of last Sunday does not help).

It seems the contract will be signed the same day as Lewis wins his 8th WDC, that is: never.

What’s your problem with Schumacher? Please give me examples of him cheating. Yeah he was loaner because he has a family. All he cared about was racing and family.

No matter how great Schumacher was, he was no saint, e.g.
    - Benetton 1994 illegal traction control
    - Benetton 1994 illegal fuel hose
    - Benetton 1994 Crashing into Hill
    - Ferrari 1997 Crashing into Jacques Villeneuve
    - Ferrari 2006 Deliberate crash after setting fastest time and blocking track

He was a loaner when he didn't have a family. Even when you have a family you don't have to be a loaner. Examples? Lol you serious? Do you not know he was disqualified for ramming into people to win a championship? And many other incidents.

Yes Michael kept going in the directon Ayrton started, max is next in line, all amazing drivers, top of the crop in terms of ability, but a bit flawed in some respects...still, we all are, and Michael was imo the one the better combined talent with hard work, and professional beyond words. The way he behaved twords the team was just top notch, and everyone loved him (except his team mates :))

Elton is a diferent sort , not as talented and more political (Senna also was), resorts to lies, and other sort of cheating while racing, sometimes less evident, some others in plain sight, but unlike the others, he's boring as hell....
