You can never go wrong with the simple elegance of the Starfish Wheels. But for the Mas Macho Wheels it's modulars. LOL! :D

I was watching it. “High” mileage as well. Still…..I thought it might fetch $120k ish.

Maybe not 120k, yet I think over 100k was a given.

It looks like a very nice car (regardless of the color) so I cannot figure out why the underperformance. It could be just the color but that would be insane

You may know that this same car was listed in the Fchat classifieds from a dealer, then purchased by a member here, who did the service and re-offered for what I felt (at the time) was a fairly priced $145k.

Given the result - though reasonably healthy compared to the Grigio car - a decent discount from investment and ask.

Honestly, the seller had done a wonderful and complete service, for which he was little compensated, though likely not his full intentions anyway. To me, it was an even better car than the resulting sale price.

I have the modular wheels and I hate them. I think the star fish ones look better but I know this option was expensive

....minus that red-over-tan gated 355 spider that didn't even touch 90k?

or by roaring did you mean for buyers? ;)

Even that blue 95 berlinetta 6-speed was only bid to 128k. Didn't even sell.

    A year, 18 months ago.....

really boils down to the individual car, end of the day.

there's plenty of (obviously non-gated) 360s online in the 80s that have BEEN for sale for several months. no movement. there was a gorgeous blue/tan one in Illinois at a porsche dealer, but they refused to budge on pricing even though the last documented timing belt service was 16 years ago....

i was booked to fly out and have a look at it but ended up fracturing my foot and had to cancel the flight. kinda glad i did, if the timing belt was put off that long, it was going to be needing a lot more maintenance than that. No coolant flushes showed up either which tells me the heat exchanger is likely about to fail if it hasn't already.

Hopefully whoever bought it knew all that and gets those things handled ASAP.
