I'm in Somerset, but no biggie, I can get to Middlesex or Monmouth
Got mine installed this past week. I like the reverse light and the overall look when off. I do have to say though, the glow of the PB Engineering lights was much nicer as it was more diffused. The hardest part was finding some steel to stick the magnetic circuit board and heat sink. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had mine out last night, and the way the PB lights look at night, not sure if it can be any better, the halo glow is awesome. They look OK though and better than stock.
No, it’s very bright and looks great. Don’t get me wrong, it’s well designed and looks good. I just think the diffused glow of the PB lights (even though not as bright), was a nicer look. Strictly aesthetically speaking.
I'll admit, I didn't read the instructions I did position the driver's side as pictured, but used the lower mounting bracket in that passenger side picture instead. Something about placing a strong magnet on something that flows fluid turned me off. Probably just me being paranoid, but I didn't want it to collect and fine particles there and then let them all go at once if I ever removed the magnet.
There's a small board with heat sink for each light (similar to PB engineering and Scud Ing Swiss but they don't have the heat sink). Since it's pretty substantial, they put a magnet on it so you can mount it easy without drilling or modifying anything.. Also, the lights use thumb screws for the installation which made it about 50x easier than the others.
The more I see these style of lights on F8’s and 812’s. The more I want them. Would really update the look of my 360 with a stock look. Anyone have any insecticide for this mod bug? lol
I just ordered a set in "smoke" version to replace the black Novitec tail lights. The brake light in the engine hood is the latest version of Novitec, in black. I think the Morimoto lights match better with the brake light. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If I had a 430 it would a no brainer . Look stock, look great. Great choice. I have a 360 and agree the appearance doesn’t do it for me. I’ve done LEDs on my Corvette and the manufacturer gave an option of “ red” or “ backed our” . On the 360 the Morimotos look like the black out option on Corvettes . Too bad I really wanted them , but the cosmetics don’t do it for me. Fcat saved me from making a poor choice.
The guy I got mine from is having a discount of $1150 shipped no tax for the sale of anyone is interested. Great lights, looks amazing. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
