    Greetings everyone!

I just joined this forum as I am 99% sure that my next car will be a California T.

I am currently a proud owner of a 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia QV. I also, unfortunately, just crashed my 2018 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider - which is why I am in the market for an new drop-top. I'm looking at the California T because I think it is gorgeous, and it helps that I am staying "in the family." I do recognize that the California is much more of a grand tourer and will feel completely different than my 4C.

I look forward to any advice this community may offer me on the car and my search. I'm looking for 2015+ because I like the last model design better, and prefer a car with only 1 (known) previous owner. I think I prefer the Rosso California color, but the dark silver (dont know the name) is also attractive. Rosso Corsa is a bit bright for me, but with a black top... it works too. :)

    Cheers!

P.S. [EDITED] I am in the central US and am willing to buy anywhere in the 48 states.

I think a search in the forums will yield the most info. My 2 cents: Special Handling package is a big value add. I haven't driven a T but in the base Cali I went for a Cali30 with Special Handling and it was lovely. Before I upgraded to a 458. LED steering wheel is entertaining and good value as well. CPO is nice for a first car. Don't be scared about mileage. Get color that makes you happy. Good luck.

Welcome to the Forum! You should start reading the many threads available on this Forum about this topic, then you could ask any questions you have. I have the HS package, the way to go.

Thank you all for the feedback. I expected I wanted the HS package. It seems to be harder to find those, however.

I have a 2015 (which preceded the HS package) but I was able to buy the factory HS exhaust which was a big upgrade. Highly recommended.

Be patient. I purchased a Cali T HS which took me 6 months to find. Private party popped up 600 miles from my house. Flew down the following week and drove home. If you can get the T HS you will be rewarded for the wait. Very different California. More than likely 1 owner and most will just be coming off the 7 year warranty so will have been cared for by a dealer with any minor issues sorted.

@k126500 - thx for the advice and appeal for patience. I am currently looking at a car from a private seller now (someone on the forums).
It’s not close enough to drive home - but that won’t stop me. :)
